Unprecedented Disney World Floridian Ticket Deal for Halloween & Christmas 2025!

Walt Disney World has released a new discounted ticket for Floridians for Fall to Christmas 2025, with savings on 3-day tickets for locals. This shares info & details about the limited-time offer, commentary about this deal, what it could mean for Halloween and holiday crowd dynamics, and historical comparisons.
This is one of several recently-released and ongoing discounts. Just last week, Walt Disney World released a New Special Offer for Canada Residents: Save Up to 32% Off Tickets in 2025-2026. That includes visit dates this November and December, as well as pretty much the entirety of next year through Fall 2026.
In the nearer term, there are also several ticket deals winding down this month: 50% Off Ticket Deal for ‘Cool Kid Summer’ at Walt Disney World, 3-Day, 3-Parks Magic Walt Disney World Ticket Deal for 2025 and the normal Florida Resident Discount Disney World Tickets for Summer & Fall 2025. Those expire on September 20th, 22nd, and 27th, respectively. Pretty much as soon as that last Floridian special offer ends, a new one starts…
With this new ticket discount, Florida residents can visit select theme parks this fall and early winter with a specially priced 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket—starting from $70 per day, plus tax (total price starting from $210, plus tax).
It’s valid for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park only. Perhaps most notably, this discounted Florida resident ticket deal is NOT valid for admission to Magic Kingdom. Meaning it’s like a twist on the 3-Park, 3-Day Ticket Deal for Summer, except for Halloween and Christmas, and exclusively available to Floridians.
This new Florida resident ticket deal is valid at one theme park per day—for a total of 3 admissions, on 3 separate days. This ticket can be used to visit the same theme park more than once. For example, you could visit EPCOT on one day, then use your remaining 2 admissions to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios on 2 separate days. (You can also leave and re-enter the same park on the same day without using another admission–there’s always confusion about this.)
For Florida resident tickets, all adults will need to show proof of Florida residency prior to first use at a Walt Disney World park ticket window.
Dates & Park Reservations
This special 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket is valid for use from October 5 through December 23, 2025, with an advance park reservation.
Reservations are limited and subject to the reservation availability allocated to this ticket, as determined by Disney, and park capacity. Reservation availability is not guaranteed for any date. Reservations may be unavailable for any particular date or park, especially as you get closer to the date of visit or ticket expiration date. For any given date, other admission types may be available for purchase, and reservations may be available for other admission types even though reservations for this ticket are fully reserved.
In plain English, this means that Disney is releasing a limited “bucket” of reservations just for this ticket–so availability for other ticket types doesn’t guarantee it for this deal. Certain dates during this promo will have low crowds, during which there should be no issue whatsoever obtaining park reservations.
However, this ticket is also valid during several peak week periods from October through December 2025. While Walt Disney World hasn’t run out of reservations for these dates in recent years, they also haven’t offered a ticket deal during that timeframe. It’s thus entirely possible that the limited bucket allocated for this deal will book up in advance. Plan accordingly and make reservations ASAP if you plan on visiting during those periods. That’s especially relevant this year because the 2025 Florida resident ticket deal doesn’t have blockouts.
Add-On Options
You can also choose a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket that includes one of these great options:
- Park Hopper Option – $40 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax – Visit more than one of the following theme parks each day of your ticket: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.
- Water Park and Sports Option – $35 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax – Visit one of the following theme parks each day of your ticket: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Plus, enjoy 3 visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World sports-related fun.
- Park Hopper Plus Option – $53 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax – Visit more than one of the following theme parks each day of your ticket: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Plus, enjoy 3 visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World sports-related fun.
Tickets and add-on options expire December 23, 2025. All tickets and options are non-transferable and non-refundable, and exclude activities/events separately priced or not open to the general public.
For recommendations about when to visit (and when to avoid) during this deal, see our lists of the Best & Worst Weeks to Visit Walt Disney World in 2025, 2026 & 2027.
There are several weeks during this special offer that make the “best” list and several more that make the “worst” list. October through December is like a veritable crowd roller coaster, full of lows and highs. It contains a few of our absolute favorite weeks of the year, and a few that most guests will want to avoid.
We’d also recommend avoiding weekends throughout the deal if at all possible. For the last few years, Saturday and Sundays have been the least-busy days of the week at Walt Disney World, which is a trend partially due to blockouts (it’s also due to AP blockouts, higher hotel rates on weekends, and more). This ticket doesn’t have blockouts, so the opposite is actually true here. Most locals work weekdays, making weekends the most logical time for them to visit. If you can swing a weekday visit, you’ll come out ahead most non-holiday weeks simply by virtue of that.
One great use case is for those who are planning to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in November or December 2025.
Keep in mind that MVMCP attendees are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 pm with purchase of admission to that separately-ticketed special event. With the 3-Park Florida Resident Ticket plus Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets, you could still get your Magic Kingdom fix without a dedicated park day on the standalone ticket.
This is a potentially great workaround, and precisely what we recommended with the 3-Park Magic Ticket over the summer and early fall (except paired with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party). Many locals already use MNSSHP and MVMCP to get their annual “Disney fix” instead of an Annual Pass, and that logic could be extended here to all 4 parks.
It helps that the holiday season offers better weather and compelling reasons to visit all 4 parks. Unlike Halloween, it’s not just confined to Magic Kingdom. There’s the delightful Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom, Candlelight Processional and Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, and a medley of offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We highly recommend DAK and EPCOT at Christmas, and DHS is also fairly enjoyable outside of its own hard ticket event.
As noted above, this is not the first Florida resident discount of the year. Currently, Florida Residents can purchase a 4-Day Summer Magic Ticket for just $60 per day, plus tax (total: $240 plus tax); there’s also a 3-Day Ticket for $75 per day, plus tax (total: $225 plus tax) and 2-Day Ticket for $105 per day, plus tax (total: $210 plus tax).
That ticket was released back in May and runs through September 27, 2025. Beyond the different day durations, the most notable difference is that ticket was/is valid at Magic Kingdom.
The other big difference is that between May and September 2025, there isn’t a single peak week. Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day are not busy holidays. See Why Summer is the New Low Crowds Season at Disney World.
By contrast, there are 4 peak weeks during this ticket deal, and other dates that will have moderate or higher crowd levels. Base pricing is also elevated over many dates (and on average, these entire months). In other words, this isn’t really an apples to apples comparison.
Last summer, the 3-day ticket was $219 and the 4-day ticket was $235. There was no 2-day option for the summer ticket. Two summers ago, the ticket deal was $209 for 3-day tickets or $229 for 4-day tickets.
This winter and spring, Walt Disney World offered a ticket deal with identical pricing to this one for 3-day and 4-day durations. Again, no 2-day option available. That ticket also had no blockouts–not even for Spring Break or Easter (despite that, I don’t recall reservation availability ever running out–but I could be wrong about that).
Back in late 2023, Walt Disney World released a weekday Florida resident ticket deal on 4-day tickets for just $59 per day, plus tax–for a total price of $235 plus tax. Back then, Florida Resident Disney Weekday Magic Tickets were valid Monday to Friday only, from October 2 through December 22, 2023. That’s the closest comparison to this deal, and the only time in recent memory when Walt Disney World offered discounted admission for this timeframe.
As noted above, this is not an apples-to-apples comparison for the most recent deal, so obviously, it’s not remotely comparable to ticket deals from 2021-2023 (all of which were weekday only and subject to blockout dates). Walt Disney World dropped those restrictions last year (and again for 2025), which gives them a much higher value for locals with normal 9 to 5 jobs or school schedules.
Conversely, removing Magic Kingdom is a big blow to ticket value for many guests…but adding the heart of the Halloween and holiday season is a big value-add for others. Really not any definitive conclusions we can make with these comparisons; just sharing them for some (useless, I guess) historical context.
This is an unprecedented ticket deal in a few different ways, both good and bad, so whether it makes sense for you really requires a personal appraisal of the tradeoffs. Honestly, we’re just pleased to see a ticket discount this time of year–that alone is a hugely positive development!
Ultimately, the Fall & Christmas 2025 Florida Resident Ticket offer is the best way for locals to save on park admission right now…unless you’ll get enough mileage out of an Annual Pass to make that worth the money. That’ll be true for many Floridians who have an interest in Walt Disney World and want to visit its most popular park.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with holiday season crowds at Walt Disney World as a result of this discount. As discussed in Slowest 3 Weeks at Walt Disney World in 2025, which otherwise covers low crowds (hence the title), weekends have been spiking and this past Saturday was a likely turning point–all because of the current ticket deal.
Our best guess is that this Fall & Christmas 2025 Florida Resident Ticket deal won’t move the needle on overall crowd levels by nearly as significant of a degree. Excluding Magic Kingdom and having a higher per day cost is going to be a dealbreaker for many locals, and Florida residents have also been “trained” to expect no discounts this time of year–so many probably already took advantage of the summer deal.
To be clear, we’re not suggesting this is a bad deal at all–more underscoring that it’s unprecedented. My view of this special offer is largely positive, but again, a big part of that is what it symbolizes–that more discounting is necessary, including during a time of year that seldom sees special offers on admission.
The big question for us is whether it’ll be unpopular enough in its early days that Walt Disney World feels compelled to release another targeted ticket deal to Disney+ subscribers, Disney Visa Cardholders, etc.
This should be an interesting saga to follow, and it’s almost certain that we haven’t seen the end of Walt Disney World’s efforts to woo back former fans and pull “levers” to incentivize more demand and guest spending. Stay tuned–there’s surely more to come in the days, weeks, and months ahead! We’ll continue closely monitoring what’s released and will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!

I’ve always been a top of the line annual Florida resident pass holder with mo blackout dares but I let it go last year for health reasons and didn’t renew on time. I want to get the Pixie Dust FR Annual pass instead. We live in Miami and don’t mind the blackout dates nor the weekday entries only. We are both 72. Do you think this is a good idea? Thanks
Who is Megatron interacting with in the picture in front of the Tree of Life please? Thank you!
I have a trip 12/21-12/28… good to hear Disney expects relatively low crowds those first 3 days.
So the highlighted text above touts Sat/Sun as the least busy days- based on the subsequent text, I think you meant the opposite?
Disney! Honestly. You could get double, if not more money, if you just gave ALL of us these deals! I think you are overvaluing your Florida residents.
I think it is sad that Disney doesn’t think about all the seniors that grew up with the original Mickey Mouse club and give us a little discount too. I see the Canadians get a discount! Not all of us live with a million dollars or a pension. We are just going with out grandkids to make some memories for us.
Why would Disney offer a ticket deal for Florida residents? Don’t the majority have annual passes? They have more options than non-Florida guests do.
I’m just hopeful they release this deal to non Florida residents. I don’t plan to buy our tickets until October 20th so fingers crossed for some sort of a deal before then!!
I’m with you we got our Xmas party tickets but waiting on sale for December dates 6-12
Hopefully will come out soon !!
Same! We got our MVMCP tickets but hoping/waiting for a deal for the other parks… for non -residents! This makes me even more hopeful! Crossing all the fingers!
My thought is that it is a sign of the bad job market and that we are in a Recession (though everyone is avoiding the big bad “R” word). Young adults are having a terrible time getting jobs, and inflation on food and everything else is hurting family finances.
I’ve been holding off on buying our tix for early October in hopes that something is in the works for the rest of us, but we’ll see I guess…thankfully we don’t need to buy them way ahead of time (as we discovered last trip that LLs were not needed at all) and we can basically wait until the last minute.
As an out-of-stater visiting 9/27-10/3, this makes me really excited that maybe I will be visiting during a low crowds sweet spot—right after one Florida ticket deal ends and right before the next one begins? Or does Disney know that week may see higher crowds anyway? Hmmm. Fingers crossed!
Nope, that week is not typically bad at all.
I wouldn’t read anything into Disney not offering a deal during that timeframe. It probably has much less to do with attendance projections and more to do with the optics of offering discounts right on top of one another. Don’t want to create the impression that they’re perpetually discounting…even if they kind of are.
We’re visiting during that exact same “sweet spot”! Hopefully it’s an advantage for us!
