Cars Land Photos
Cars Land is the new flagship land in Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort. Here are tons of beautiful Cars Land photos from this brand new land at Disney, based on the popular Pixar Cars film. As you can see, Cars Land is incredibly detailed, and as soon as you step foot in Cars Land, it feels like you’ve stepped out of Disney California Adventure, and onto Route 66 right at the edge of Radiator Springs. It’s truly one of the most beautiful and immersive lands that Disney has ever created, and Disney California Adventure has a huge hit on its hands with Cars Land. I could gush about Cars Land for pages and pages, but for now, I’ll let the photos do the talking!
Make sure you check out our main Disney California Adventure Grand Reopening page! From there you can access photo pages for everything that opened at Disney California Adventure in Summer 2012, from Cars Land to Buena Vista Street to merchandise, food, and much more! These look great Tom! Certainly very colorful. I remember shooting in there a month ago and having the street basically to myself 🙂 Of course, it was still under construction 🙁 I will read your blog when I have some time. Got a call from David in Yellow Shoes today and he has some architectural resort stuff he wants me to shoot in HDR. Could be the start of something good. Time will tell. Once again, I enjoy your photos as always. Now that you are friends with John Lasseter, I fully expect you to be running the Walt Disney Company someday!
Awesome pictures! Youve made Cars Land look so amazing!
Thanks for the kind words…the Imagineers made it easy to make Cars Land looking amazing in photos!
I don’t think Sarah’s smile could have gotten any bigger in the picture with John Lasseter! And as always gorgeous pictures!
Why does everything at Disney look so much better at night???
These are beautiful, stunning photographs, as we have come to expect! I know the theming inside the shops on Buena Vista Street is quite good, based on pictures, but I haven’t seen much of the interior theming in Cars Land (except for Flo’s and the queue of the racers). Any comment? Also, I’m old enough to remember when the lands of the Disney parks featured merchandise themed to each particular land. Has there been any attempt in Cars Land to include Cars merchandise or (especially) Route 66-themed or 1950s-themed items?
Looking at these pictures makes me feel like I’m watching the movies. Thank you, Tom & Sarah, for the pics and thank you Disney for finally giving Cars the recognition it so richly deserves!
Great work, I’m so envious that you got to meet John Lasseter! Do you have any interior shots of the stores/Flo’s, or were they too crowded/not your thing?
Beautiful work, love the podcast, too.
wonderful pictures!
How should we classify the Ornament Valley, Cadillac Mountains, as the world’s largest sculpture? A work of art, or a structure? Sure is somethin’ to lookie at! Nice pics as usual!
Favorite Cars Land post yet!! Love love love!
Lovely. Fantastic. Amazing. Great work! And yay for Sarah and Lasseter!
Holy cow! That sunset behind the Flo’s V8 sign is magnificent!!!!
That is the same one that jumped out at me too. It is a great shot!
