2021 EPCOT Festival of Arts Food Booth Menus
Walt Disney World has released Food Studio menus for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, our favorite event of the year in the park! This post will offer a preview of new and returning savory snacks and decadent desserts, and more.
This year, the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts at Walt Disney World runs from January 8 through February 22, 2021. The Food Studios are all located throughout the World Showcase pavilions and the World ShowPlace event center, like the Holiday Kitchens and Global Marketplaces before them. These food booths open each day from park opening until park closing.
For the most part, the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will recycle the booths used by the Christmas-time event, with a smaller slate than the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, the park’s flagship culinary event. These 15 Food Studios showcase the best in culinary art, blending colorful ingredients, unique cooking techniques, and imaginative presentations to create edible masterpieces…
As you’ll see below, Walt Disney World’s culinary and beverage teams created some new foods for 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and also brought back numerous fan favorites. There’s also one new food booth: Vibrante & VÃvido Food Studio, which is located between Morocco & France. That and the Mosaic Canteen booth having an all-new menu likely stems from Disney taking control of the Morocco pavilion (there’s also a new menu at Spice Road Table).
Returning is the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, a fun food stroll highlighting five sweet and savory offerings at the festival. Upon purchase of each, you’ll receive a stamp for your Festival Passport. Collect all five stamps and take your Festival Passport to the Decadent Delights Food Studio to receive a complimentary Artist Palette Cookie.
Before we start, it’s worth emphasizing that the culinary arts are only one small component of Festival of the Arts. Unlike Food & Wine Festival, buying food is not essential to enjoying Festival of the Arts. Sure, food is great and snacking around World Showcase is fun.
However, there’s so much substance to this event beyond food that, unlike the overpriced food dishes, is totally free! You can watch artists create art right in front of you, peruse booths and galleries, participate in the creation of art, and so much more. Festival of the Arts is great in spite of the food, not because of it. If you’re interested in knowing what not to miss in terms of non-food offerings, read our Epcot International Festival of the Arts Tips & Strategy post.

YOUR THOUGHTS
Do you have any favorite savory snacks or decadent desserts from the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? Any least favorite items? Do you think the food is worth the high price tags given the attention to detail, or is it all still overpriced? What are you looking forward to trying at the Food Studio booths? Any questions? Hearing from you is half the fun, so please share your thoughts in the comments!
Wonder why they didn’t? I have eaten at all the festivals, I live locally, but like to make sure there are at least a few things listed as Gluten Friendly (yes Disney is aware of cross contamination which is why they list items as gluten friendly-not gluten free). My family enjoys the different festivals but if there aren’t at least a few things listed that are GF that appeal to me, I make an ADR, or just plan to do a mobile order at Regal Eagle or similar. I like to have a plan!
Taking a longer look at the menu…..
First, I love to try new things, so Morocco definitely caught my eye along with the Vibrante and Vivido booth. Mexico looks good too, but we will see. Yes, pictures and descriptions are often not reality (hello sushi donut). I think there was a fish entree last year that I really loved that seems to be missing. I’m not seeing anything comparable either. Lots of other options though. It’s nice to see them changing it up. It seems like there are a lot more menu changes this year compared to the last couple of years.
Wow, I should not have looked at that while hungry!! Well, we are planning to spend a whole day there, so plenty of time to walk it off between courses.
I’m hungry now and I miss Disney World terribly! Thank you for showing us the menu because I can get a tiny vicarious thrill from it : ).
Could it be that Mexico is about to kick ass this year!? Those descriptions sound great!
Let’s be honest, we know Italy isn’t even with an overhauled menu but for some reason I keep giving Mexico more chances than it deserves.
Mexico and Italy typically have all-new menus (or close to it) for every event of the year. Patterns have developed, with similar dishes rotated to other festivals.
I’ll withhold judgment on Mexico until tasting the items myself, but good descriptions and stock photos are not enough to give me (potentially false) hope quite yet…
Some of these new items look amazing! Maybe the Italy booth will have a real comeback this year (can’t tell if vanilla-saffron cream will be revelatory or revolting).
Some of the new items do look great, but I’m still skeptical Italy will be anything special.
I’m excited for your post with reviews and recommendations, as I’ll be attending this festival in a couple weeks!
Kind of off topic curiosity: did you or Sarah ever end up tasting the pistachio chai float they had in MK for the holidays? I remember you saying you didn’t want to be the guinea pig for that one. I planned on avoiding it, but after one of the other blogs gave it a positive review and being a huge chai fan, I took the risk and…LOVED it. So much that I rated it as one of my favorite treats on my Christmas trip!!! So I’ll probably be a little more daring with some of these interesting combos on the Arts Festival list.
How fun?! I’m always daydreaming about the next trip Tom! Bring on Florida! Bring on sunshine! And bring on any temperature above 50 degrees lol (fellow Michigander here). 🙂
Ha, it has been dipping below 50 degrees here overnight and I am VERY HAPPY about that. Give me that cold weather any day!
Thank you for the information. One little suggestion? Can you add the dietary markers when you post the menus please? As someone with a food allergy it is helpful to see how Disney has designated something.
Walt Disney World has not included those markers with these menus, for some reason.
I think there is such a good possibility for cross contamination in these outdoor kitchens, that they don’t want to include allergy ingredients.
My husband being true celiac has eaten the (gluten/wheat allergy friendly) items at the festival booths, at several festivals, over the last 8-9 years we’ve gone and has never had a reaction, and he is VERY susceptible to cross contamination. The food isn’t totally prepared in the hut and we were told the GF items are made and ready to hand out in the backstage kitchen. We vacation at Disney because of the care they take he can eat and has never been sick there.
