Lazy Sunday – Behind The Scenes of Tom Taking Photos
It’s Sunday, which means…it’s time to be Lazy! Today’s story should be relatively self-explanatory. Each one of the photo sets below features a photo Sarah took of me taking a photo, followed by the photo I was taking. Let’s get started!

Its your lawyer instincts kicking in! “Yes I really took these photos” The evidence is the photo your wife took of you taking the photo!

I believe the story here is quite clear. That innocent looking man with the camera is obviously a Spy, and he is taking pictures of all our best secrets so he can take them back to his homeland and present them to the King and Queen. At one point, as you can plainly see, he has pointed his camera shamelessly up the skirt of Cinderella as if she didn’t have enough trouble, what with being treated like dirt and being surrounded by mice from morn to night. That first picture shows the Authorities catching up with the Spy. You can tell the Authorities by their wide-brimmed hats, which they wear in order to blend into the crowd. That’s really not all that funny, when you think about it, a slinking, slithering, stooping spy, out to cause trouble for America!
So I’ve learned you take photos of stuff at WDW and Sarah takes photos of you taking photos of stuff at WDW
Sarah also takes photos of birds at Walt Disney World. Yessir, we’re livin’ the dream!
I really enjoyed seeing how you got all those shots. I’m also v. impressed that you were able to match up the shots of you taking the shot with the pictures that you produced! (Although now that I think about it, it doesn’t seem very lazy to me…). My favorite two shots of this group are your shot of Brer Fox at Splash Mountain and Sarah’s shot of you almost falling into the fountain.
It actually wasn’t difficult at all. Sarah’s camera and my camera are have their internal clocks synced, so when I dump the photos into a folder and sort by date taken, the photos appear right next to one another. Very easy!
Heh–we’re not that coordinated in my family! And I usually don’t think of trying to do it till I get home, even among my own cameras….
I was also wondering how you did this. Really cool!

Fun post! It’s always interesting to see set-up shots, especially when you’re hanging over ledges and falling into fountains.

I love being able to see the angles you have to take to get your pictures-it’s awesome to see what you do and the result. Makes me think I need to be more flexible when I’m taking pictures to get unusually pretty shots!
So now we know that Sarah is your own personal photographer, lol.
