Best Deal on Disney Gift Cards of 2026: Up to $100 Off!

There’s a new deal for Disney gift cards, offering 10% off or up to $100 in savings. This covers discount details, plus a similar sale on Southwest Airlines, and more you need to know about buying and using these gift cards.
If you’re looking for ways to save on gift cards at other retailers, check out our comprehensive Money-Saving Tips for Discount Disney Gift Cards. That covers Kroger, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Meijer and more. We’ve also been sharing deals on gift cards for third party restaurateurs that operate at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
That gift card buying guide includes everything from straightforward sales to more complicated ways to stack savings (e.g. cash back sites, credit card bonuses, etc). This post is shorter and sweeter, focusing on the limited-time sales at Sam’s Club in late April through May 2026.
Normally, 10% off is a great deal on Disney gift cards–even if gated behind a membership at one of the club stores. We jump on discounts offering that degree of savings, especially since virtually every Disney gift card deal has limits. You’ll typically be capped at $800 at the absolute most worth of gift cards with any deal, and it’s very easy to spend $800 at Walt Disney World. That’s one day (at best?) in the parks!
Usually, the best sales happen between mid-November and mid-December and then again during Christmas in July sales (or Memorial/Labor Day). We’re now past the first sweet spot, and have a while to go before the second.
Accordingly, we’ve been encouraging readers with gift card “needs” for the first half of 2026 to lower their standards from those 10% or $800 threshold. We share all of the gift card sales, so subscribe to our free email newsletter for a heads up when more Disney gift card deals go live.
The great news is that the new Disney gift card deal at Sam’s Club meets both thresholds! Here are full deal details…

Sam’s Club will have $500 Disney eGift Card on sale for $450, which is 10% off!
Based on the Sam’s Club Instant Savings Book, this is an Online Weekend Doorbuster sale that will only be available May 1-3, 2026.
In terms of the actual relevant fine print, you’re limited to a maximum of 2 per order and 2 per membership on Disney eGift Cards. So $1,000 worth of digital Disney gift cards for $900, or $100 off. No matter how you slice it–up to $100 off or 10% off–that’s a great discount on a high denomination amount.
What follows are updates on this deal through May 1, 2026 at 3 pm Eastern, as it’s been quite the roller coaster ride…

Sam’s Club Plus members get early access to this sale starting April 30, 2026 at 9pm Eastern. If you’re not yet a Plus member, you can upgrade at SamsClub.com/Plus. UPDATE: Buried in the fine print, it says that this gift card deal will NOT be part of early access.
UPDATE 2: Despite the deceptive fine print, the gift card deal has gone live for Sam’s Club Plus members at of 9pm Eastern on April 30, 2026. Good to see Sam’s do the right thing and launch the deal during early access, as the straightforward presentation of the deal made it look like it’d go live during early access, only to be excluded by an asterisk that led to a full page of footnotes on page 47 of the savings book.
UPDATE 3: It appears that the $500 Disney eGift Cards sold out during the Plus presale (that wasn’t supposed to happen), and never were available to the general public. At least, not that we saw. However, some readers have reported seeing it come back in stock briefly. Although I haven’t seen this myself with this particular deal, I wouldn’t be surprised by it. Restocks are always possible, and it’s worth keeping an eye on throughout the weekend.
One reader has also reported success at purchasing for the $450 price at their local brick-and-mortar Sam’s Club store. Your mileage may vary on this one, as the savings book specifically states this deal is “online only” and the product page also says “prices may vary in club and online.” But there was also an asterisk indicating that the item was excluded from the presale, and yet, it wasn’t. So who knows at this point–it might be worth checking your local store!

Sam’s Club will also have $500 Southwest Airlines eGift Cards on sale for $450 as part of the same online doorbuster sale. This will likewise be available for the May 1-3, 2026 subset of dates, or while supplies last.
If you’re someone who still flies SWA, that 10% off discount is another great deal! You’re normally limited to a maximum of 5 per order and 5 per membership on Southwest gift cards, which may or may not be reduced for this sale.
Purchase of the Southwest Airlines eGift Card has no bearing on eligibility or limits for the Disney eGift Card. They’re two separate sales, each with their own limits. To whatever extent one impacts the other, that’s your personal budget or credit card limit.

In looking through the Disney gift card sales that we’ve covered thus far this year, this is the best of the more straightforward ones, offering both 10% off and a high dollar cap. There have been a couple of previous 10% off sales, but they’ve had significantly lower limits. Most of the sales have been decent, with 6-8% off and lower limits unless you stacked with credit card bonuses.
While we subscribe to the “it all adds up” mantra, this is the first deal that will, by itself, make a meaningful contribution towards paying for a Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or DCL vacation. It’s the first $100 off or higher sale of 2026! (It’s possible there have been equivalent deals at regional stores, but I haven’t seen any.)
This deal is online only; prices may vary in club stores. (Meaning this deal most is not available in stores and gift cards will likely be the normal ~$480 price there.) Here’s the link to where you’ll find this deal once it goes live: https://www.samsclub.com/ip/Disney-500-Gift-Card/13893257573
The $500 Disney eGift Card for $450 will be available online at Sam’s Club from May 1-3, 2026.

You may have success with additional orders (that’s always YMMV), but they’re likely to get cancelled. What we’ve seen in the past with Sam’s Club sales is a higher likelihood of success the earlier this orders are placed. Meaning that your best chances of exceeding the limit and actually having the gift cards delivered is as soon as it goes live.
It’s also possible that you might have success ordering on day one, and then again on a different day. Although it’s equally likely that this sells out within a few hours and is never restocked. That happens often with Disney gift card deals, especially ones offering significant savings like this.
As always, you should buy ASAP when the deal goes live. These often sell out within hours, especially the better deals (and again, this is the best of the year-to-date). This deal may be dead before May 2nd!

Disney Gift Cards are redeemable at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disney Store US locations, DisneyStore.com, and beyond.
You can use Disney Gift Cards for almost anything parks-related, including but not limited to theme park tickets, hotel stays, merchandise, restaurants, Lightning Lanes, and even at some participating third party locations (e.g. stores and restaurants at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney).
You can use the gift cards online at Disneyworld.com or Disneyland.com when booking trips, as well as in the respective apps when placing Mobile Orders, etc. Basically, you can use these gift cards for almost anything at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and beyond. There are some odd and random exceptions to this, but they’re almost as good as a regular credit card or currency.

Every Disney gift card deal comes with limits and we always find ourselves taking advantage of sales throughout the year to max out our discounts. We spend more time and money at the parks than the average guest, but even if you’re doing only an annual trip, you’ll likely want to do the same. And from that perspective, 10% off is a hot deal, especially when it amounts to a total savings of $100.
Speaking of it all adding up, we also highly recommend combining Disney gift cards so you don’t have a wallet or purse filled with a dozen different ones, and you have to make multiple scans at each cash register to figure out which ones still have a balance. Disney gift cards can be combined via Disney’s online management tool under “My Cards.”
You can also use that to check balances. As someone who often forgets to do the former and has had an embarrassing ‘incident’ at Sunshine Seasons involving the scanning of several gift cards (two of which had less than $1 on them) as a line built behind me, that’s a mistake I won’t make again. At least, not anytime soon. Hopefully.

As with everyone else, I was shut out online at 7:00 am on May 1, but that evening around 7:30 pm, I went to the local brick & mortar Sam’s Club, and was was able to purchase 2 gift cards there. I don’t think it was an error or fluke. There even was a large sign above the Disney gift cards advertising the $450 price.
I tried right at the release to non-plus members this morning but received nothing but technical errors adding to cart. They quickly sold out so I assume at least some people were able to purchase. Sam’s Club makes Disney’s IT seem state of the art!
Oops! They are not out of stock! There are two $500 cards being displayed on Sam’s . The first one appears on the first line, and that one dispalys “Out-of-stock”. If you page down to the second or third row (I can’t remember) there is another $500 card displayed that show the discount and is transaction-able!
FYI – I was able to purchase two $500 gift cards for $900 total at the Sam’s Club in my hometown (Tampa) this morning. While sold out online, they said they put them out this morning. So – I suggest trying your local store.
Yeah we are headed there 5/4 and my daughter & I both tried early this morning & unable to add to cart. Eventually changed to out of stock! Really disappointed!!!
Thanks for the heads up on this. Didn’t expect that, but nice to hear it happening!
The shelf price still listed $484 so the sale is not obvious. The discount was taken off at checkout. I checked with the membership desk to confirm the price before purchasing.
They are out of stock again. 🙁
Meijer is offering their 10% off Gift Card Deal now through May 12th. You’ll earn 5,000 points ($5) for every $50 spent up to $500 per MPerk Account.
We tried to buy two of these $500 cards last night at 1AM. We live on the east coast so we thought we might get the first opportunity to purchase them. However, when I went to add these to my cart, I couldn’t find the button to do so. There was no notice posted of any restriction or problem. It wasn’t until I searched the Sam’s website that I found a note stating “out of stock”. How can an item be out of stock almost immediately after it becomes available to purchase? Also, if it was 1AM on the east coast, it wasn’t even 12AM yet west of the Mississippi. Do those Sam’s members get the opportunity to buy these cards at a later time? I smell a bait-and-switch here!
As on 7:30 am Central Time the Disney gift card shows as “out of stock” and I am just a regular member. I was able to get a Southwest gift card for the special price. very disappointed though, because I would have preferred the Disney offer.
Wonder how many Disney gift cards they really offer. This is like the third offering that I wasn’t able to get the Disney deal.
As I mentioned previously, don’t join Sam’s Club just for this offer!
And it looks like from the comments some of the Plus members didn’t get it either for the early access.
