Disney World’s New Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up Shop Sets Opening Date

Walt Disney World is opening a limited-time store with products inspired by “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True,” the first-ever Christmas movie filmed on property. Here are full details, including the special co-branded merchandise that’ll be available at the pop-up shop, debut dates, and more.

This new ‘retail experience’ comes against the backdrop of Walt Disney World and the Hallmark Channel teaming up on an all-new, original holiday movie called “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.” The exclusive will premiere on Saturday, November 28, 2026 at 8:00pm Eastern on the Hallmark Channel and stream on Hallmark+ the following day.

“Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True” was shot on location at Walt Disney World starting around last Thanksgiving through early 2026. The movie stars Lacey Chabert, Travis Van Winkle, Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna in a cameo role.

In “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True,” Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together. But the dream of a jolly holiday gets dashed when Lindsey discovers her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who’s also there on a family trip.

As Lindsey and Philip’s paths cross throughout their Walt Disney World trip, the frost starts to thaw as they learn they’re not so different from each other after all. Thanks to the magic of Disney, the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance.

It’s always impossible to predict how a Hallmark movie might end, so who knows how things might play out. Perhaps they’ll bond over a mutual appreciation for Country Bear Jamboree, and share a first kiss while Wendell and Teddi Barra perform “A Whole New World.” My money is on that happily ever after ending.

Hallmark Pop-Up Store at Disney Springs

One of the under-the-radar announcements during the D23 Expo was Hallmark announcing the opening of a holiday pop-up store at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, which will sell “Holiday Ever After” inspired merchandise. With signage going up recently and the storefront starting to take its finished form, the confirmed opening date of the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up Shop is October 7, 2026.

“Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True is about bringing people together through stories, traditions and meaningful moments,” said Stacey Howe, SVP of Brand Licensing & Business Development at Hallmark. “The Hallmark pop-up at Disney Springs extends that experience beyond the screen, giving fans and families a place to discover products inspired by the film and create new holiday memories of their own.”

According to Hallmark, the pop-up at Disney Springs is part of a “first-of-its-kind holiday collaboration that brings together original content, exclusive products and an in-person experience for fans.” Guests can shop products inspired by and featured in the movie, along with various Hallmark greeting cards, Keepsake Ornaments and Disney-inspired gifts.

“Disney Springs is all about bringing guests together through memorable shopping, dining and entertainment experiences, especially during the holidays,’’ said Debbie Hart, Vice President of Disney Springs. “This holiday pop-up store offers guests a new way to celebrate the season, inspired by the magic of Disney storytelling and the timeless traditions Hallmark is known for.”

This collaboration opens a new chapter in the nearly century-long relationship between Hallmark and Disney, which have long partnered on Christmas cards and ornaments. In addition to being the first original Hallmark movie filmed at Walt Disney World, it also marks the return of Hallmark products to Disney Parks for the first time since the 1980s.

The Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up Shop is located between the Disney Vacation Club Gateway to Discovery and Everything But Water in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. The store replaces the former Francesca’s, which closed earlier this year (it’ll be on the left side in the photo above). It’s on a prime piece of real estate that gets a lot of foot traffic, and should be busy throughout its run this Christmas season and into early 2027.

This is actually a really savvy strategy on Walt Disney World’s part, and I hope we see more of it. Several smaller-scale stores have shuttered in the last year; replacing them with temporary or seasonal offerings is a way to get fans excited and keep locals coming back.

It beats an unintentional revolving door of retailers that probably aren’t good fits or viable given the high rent that Disney charges. This worked well with CrazyShakes, and I’m sure Hallmark will be a huge hit for Christmas, especially with its unique and collaborative product line.

The Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up Shop will sell greeting cards, gift card, decor, and new Disney Parks ornaments that are part of the Christmas 2026 product line. It’ll also offer lifestyle items, including festive pajamas, slippers, socks and sweatshirts, and collaborations with Loungefly, Vera Bradley, Spirit Jersey, and Corkcicle, offer coordinating accessories, drinkware and bags that extend the collection beyond the holiday season.

Here are some of the products featured as part of the “Holiday Ever After” launch:

The “Holiday Ever After” collection features 42 products that include apparel, accessories, home, kitchen, ornaments, and cards. You can find the whole collection with prices and details on hallmark.com.

The movie merchandise is now available at hallmark.com and Hallmark Gold Crown stores, with the Disney Springs pop-up shop adding a retail option for Walt Disney World guests starting October 7, 2026. Products will also be available at Disney Parks, select Hallmark Gold Crown stores nationwide, and select Kohl’s and Walmart locations.

What’s most interesting about this “Holiday Ever After” collection is that it feels more like Walt Disney World merchandise than it does Hallmark. If this were released as one of the product lines in Disney’s upcoming Christmas collection, I wouldn’t bat an eye–nor would I realize that it’s co-branded with Hallmark for the upcoming movie.

This is probably a smart move! This stuff is going to appeal most to Walt Disney World fans, and although there’s undoubtedly tremendous crossover appeal between Hallmark and Disney, it’s best to have the merchandise sell on its own.

While some of these items have Hallmark branding, it’s nothing overt. A first-timer visiting Walt Disney World this Christmas could be clueless about the movie, but purchase this because they like the pattern. Someone walking into Walmart and seeing the collection there might not know these are technically Walt Disney World products.

Basically, they’ve made the products as universally appealing as possible, which makes sense given that they’ll sell not just at Walt Disney World or on hallmark.com, but also at Walmart, Kohls, and Hallmark stores nationwide. Having merchandise that’s crowd-pleasing is sensible here, as opposed to leaning into the movie tie-in.

It’s still clearly inspired by the movie and connected to that, and fans of the film will recognize that. But those who lack background knowledge will just think it’s fun Disney x Hallmark Christmas merchandise.

We are really looking forward to “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.” We’ve been counting down to this year’s Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas since this movie was first announced last November. Now the wait is almost over!

Hallmark Channel Christmas movies are our ultimate guilty pleasure during the holiday season. We watch a lot of them–easily two-dozen per Christmas. I’m not even going to pretend it’s against my will. They’re nice to put on in the background.

The ending of every single one is predictable from about the 10-minute mark. There’s almost always a small town character (and setting) in a relationship with a big city character who isn’t right for them, or a big city character rediscovering their roots in a small town. Sometimes there are cats and/or castles. I really like these ones.

My one big hope is that they don’t overproduce “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True” or lean too hard into the ‘free marketing’ angle.

A bit of Toy Story Land is okay, but I really hope there’s no a 10 minute tangent about going on a search for the missing ingredient in grandma’s famous Christmas cookies, and soliciting the help from the Tiana’s Foods team. That might be a bit much.

The secret sauce of Hallmark Channel movies is that they have this b-movie quality to them. They are cozy, like a warm hug. Many fans have stopped watching the ABC Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade because it’s the opposite of that. It feels overly-commercial and cold by comparison. (Ironic since over-commercializing holidays is Hallmark’s whole thing!)

“Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True” has the potential to thread the needle and become a guilty-pleasure cult classic. It doesn’t need to be good-good or so-bad-it’s-good. The movie just needs to have just the right amount of cheesiness, Hallmark sentimentality, and Christmas at Walt Disney World window-dressing.

This generation really needs what mine had back in the day with the Top 10 TV Shows Set at Walt Disney World and Top 10 Walt Disney World TV Specials. It’d be nice if “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True” becomes a new entry on that second list!
