FREE Disney Vacation Planning Video!

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland? You can now order the Free Disney Parks Planning video and have updates & info sent to you by mail! We like this video because it contains fun footage and info that complements the tips on our blog.

After clicking the link below and selecting Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you’ll want to select the ‘Sign Up for Tips & Offers‘ button at the top of the page. Enter your mailing address so that Disney can send you special offers and fun updates, which is also a great trick for receiving a targeted unique offer code!

The video provides an overview of Walt Disney World or Disneyland (you choose), with beautiful footage of the parks, hotels, special events, and more. This video will tug at your heart strings (we all know Disney is incredibly skilled at this sort of thing), and sometimes this emotional approach is just what’s needed. Please note that as of 2019, it appears Walt Disney World is no longer sending out copies of the DVD by mail. The video is streaming-exclusive, at least for the time being. (We’re guessing that this is a permanent change given the rise of streaming and fall of media-based video consumption. It’s also probably cheaper for Disney.

While you’ll find some content here that will emotionally resonate, the fact is that’s not the goal of our blog posts. We weigh the pros and cons of everything from hotels to restaurants to tickets and beyond to help you spend your money wisely and get the must bang for your buck with posts like our Walt Disney World Planning Guide or Disneyland Planning Guide.

Unless you want your kids to view you as a drill sergeant, resources like this video are an awesome way of balancing out strategical tips & tricks on our blog, with something fun. Plus, it’s a nice keepsake…and did we mention free?! (Ha, we’re obviously over-emphasizing that bit, but seriously, how often do you get something totally free from Disney?)

If you are just starting to plan your first visit to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, this video can also be an excellent resource. It provides background info that’s helpful before digging into comprehensive material on blogs or unofficial guidebooks. Sometimes, we have a tendency to presume knowledge of certain things in our posts, and this video is a good primer to make sure you have that knowledge.

Even if you have visited numerous times, ordering the free Disney Parks Planning video is still a great way to get hyped up for your next trip.

We order the new edition of the video every year. We like to build anticipation by watching the newest version of this video, and other specials we’ve collected. While they aren’t incredibly helpful in terms of planning, they are fun, and that matters, too!

  8. My DVD came in today’s mail (July 16, 2016) and I ordered it on July 6, 2016. Mine looks like the one in the photo here so I guess it’s not the 2017 edition mentioned below? Should I reuest another one in August?

    1. I’m not sure whether another will be released in August, but the fall is around the time Disney starts shifting to 2017 marketing, so that makes sense. I’ll probably wait until September to order another for myself just to play it safe, unless I see Disney’s marketing on the DVD explicitly say “2017.”

Super annoying…I’ve tried to do this on my phone, Chromebook, MacBook in a variety of browsers for weeks…I can click on the image, but when I get to the point where I sign into my Disney account and it auto-populates my address, the State box is grayed out and I cannot select the correct state (or any state!), even though my zip code and town are already automatically filled in (and the state is listed in my Disney profile). When I try to hit “Submit” anyway, it says “Please enter your address.” I cannot edit my address in the form, and I’ve tried re-adding my address in my Disney profile. Nothing. So frustrating!

    1. That stinks–sorry to hear! You’ll want to contact Disney’s online support for that; we don’t have anything to do with their site. Hope they can get it to work for you!

    2. I just called and they said they are redoing the DVD at the present time and their new one is going to be available mid-August which is why you (and I) were getting this grayed out state situation. They recommended to check back then

  16. For those having trouble it appears to be a Javascript issue. I’m on Chrome and couldn’t see it either. I inspected the code and found it goes to “http://embed.fuze360.com/ed55fc23eb652b30d4d63238f8b9d742.js”. I opened this page in Safari and everything is fine. So make sure you have Javascript updated to the latest version and enabled in your browser or use another browser.

    I am trying to order this “FREE Disney Vacation Planning DVD!” but clicking the banner just gets me to an info page , then “read more” gets me back to the page I came from?? Help!

    1. Hmmm…I can’t replicate that error. Did you ever get it to work? What browser are you using? Are you on mobile or desktop?
