Full Menu for Tiana’s Palace Restaurant

Disneyland has released the full menu for Tiana’s Palace in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. This shares a rundown of what’ll be available when the reimagined restaurant opens on September 7, 2023–plus food, drink & dessert photos from the Princess and the Frog inspired quick-service eatery.

Tiana’s Palace Restaurant is the latest piece of the puzzle as part of a bigger-picture project that revolves around the reimagining of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou AdventureThat transformation got off to a delayed start, but has now been underway for the last few months. For now, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is slated to open in Late 2024.

That ride reimagining is back in Critter Country. Meanwhile in New Orleans Square, Tiana’s Palace Restaurant replaces the former French Market Restaurant. The doors to this new establishment will be opening soon to feed hungry guests a little taste of New Orleans inspired by Tiana herself. Nestled on Orleans Street, this soon-to-be hotspot will be serving up can’t-miss classics like gumbo and beignets…

With flavors and ingredients coming right out of New Orleans, you don’t need to chat with your “friends on the other side” to know that this new spot is going to be the place to be on your next visit to Disneyland Resort.

So let’s dig a little deeper and find out what’ll be on the menu at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant when the dining spot debuts on September 7, 2023 at Disneyland…

If you love gumbo, good news! Tiana’s Palace Restaurant will feature multiple options for you to try. The 7 Greens Gumbo is a plant-based option, featuring white beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes, and heirloom rice.

You can also feast upon the 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage if you’re wanting something a little meatier.

Next up on the menu at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant is the House Gumbo.

This dish is a New Orleans staple combining braised chicken, andouille sausage, and heirloom rice into a mouthwatering delight with a bit of a kick.

For those wanting a little extra spice from down in New Orleans, the Cajun Spice Half Chicken is the dish for you.

The chicken is brushed with a house-made chicory BBQ sauce and served with baked macaroni and cheese & coleslaw.

Tiana’s Palace Restaurant has no shortage of sandwiches, either.

The Muffuletta Sandwich stacks mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar, provolone and house made olive relish on toasted New Orleans sesame seed bread.

Another staple is the Beef Po-boy Sandwich, featuring slow-cooked beef perfectly coated with gravy and fully dressed with shredded lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise atop a toasted New Orleans French bread.

Both sandwiches are served alongside red beans and rice and house-made pickles.

For the shrimp and/or grits lovers out there, it’s your lucky day–Tiana’s Palace is also serving up the Gulf Shrimp and Grits for you.

Grilled to perfection and tossed in a Creole sauce, the shrimp are then paired with cheesy grits to form a classic dish that will transport you down the bayou with each bite.

If you want a little something extra to your meal, the chefs have put together a lovely array of classic sides at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant.

These include the Buttermilk Cornbread, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Red Beans & Heirloom Rice, Coleslaw, Cheesy Grits, and plant-based Heirloom Rice.

There are also crowd-pleasing kids meals. The Roasted Chicken Drumstick is served with a sweet BBQ sauce and heirloom rice, while the Toasted Ham & Cheese Sandwich is topped with savory ham and provolone.

Also, a classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese is on the menu for the young ones. All three of these are accompanied by a Cuties Mandarin Orange and applesauce with choice of Dasani water or small lowfat milk.

And of course, no restaurant inspired by The Princess and the Frog could be complete without beignets. And at Tiana’s Palace, dessert is always first. These desserts aren’t regular Disneyland beignets. Instead, the House-filled Beignet features a delicious lemon ice box pie filling topped with lemon glaze for the perfect bite.

If you want to take home a piece of Tiana’s Palace with you, the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set can be ordered with the House-filled Beignet.

The Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew topped with sweet cream is also available at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant. The Ray Firefly Glow Cube is also available with the purchase of a beverage. This adorable addition will light up your drink just like Evangeline lights up the night sky.

We’ll leave you with that to digest for now, but there’s a reason this was the rare post here that’s relatively succinct and presented without commentary. We had the chance to taste most of the menu at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant during a media preview, and will be sharing full first impressions later today. Suffice to say, this is going to be an instant fan-favorite dining spot at Disneyland, but like any restaurant, it may not be for everyone.
