Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure AP Preview Dates & How to Register
Walt Disney World has opened booking for Annual Passholder previews of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot’s World Showcase France pavilion. We have the details and how to register.
Reservations can be made by any Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. You don’t need the “Squeak Peek” invitation email–all you need is the link, and fortunately, we have that!
You will not need to make a separate Disney Park Pass reservation to enter Epcot on the day of your preview, but applicable Walt Disney World AP blockout dates do apply. (Fortunately, there are a ton of eligible dates, so that should be easy to work around.)
Here are Walt Disney World’s other terms and conditions for the preview: “Limit one preview registration per Passholder. Capacity and space are limited, and subject to availability. Registrations are valid only during specific preview dates and hours. Entry is not guaranteed. Advance registration required. Valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass Card and valid photo ID required at check-in.
“Preview registration and entry are non transferable and void if sold or otherwise transferred. Operating hours, activities and locations are subject to availability, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability. This preview registration does not require an additional Disney Park Pass Theme Park reservation to enter EPCOT on the day of your preview. Valid Theme Park admission required for Park entry and subject to applicable pass blockouts.”
Here’s a look at the full invitation email, in case you didn’t receive it:
For whatever reason, only some Annual Passholders received this invite. It’s not because they’re the only ones eligible…that’s just how Disney’s communications system seems to work. Our batting average for anything from Walt Disney World, whether it be paper mailers, magnets, or emails, is about .500, at best.
Sarah received this one, but I did not.
To register for the FREE Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Annual Passholder Previews at Walt Disney World, do the following, IN THIS ORDER:
- Open an incognito/private browser window
- Sign-in on DisneyWorld.com
Note that this link is sometimes temperamental. You may have to log-out of My Disney Experience, log back in, etc., in order to get it to work.
Here is the process for registering, along with a couple of important tips to avoid further headaches…
While you’re in the waiting room, we STRONGLY recommend that you copy the queue ID. That’s your unique code, and will allow you to keep your place in the queue if something happens. With Disney’s new virtual waiting room system, you should always do this–not just for this Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure preview.
In fact, something did happen to me–Stitch ate my page while trying to register. I copy and pasted that link into a new browser tab and picked up where I left off. Phew.
We had another issue while trying to register–it would not let Sarah add me for some reason.
She was able to register herself and would’ve been able to register other friends with connected MDX accounts, but not me for some odd reason. (This has happened to us before.) Fortunately, I was also in the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure virtual queue and only 2 minutes behind her.
Here’s the first screen you’ll encounter after the wait is over.
Pretty standard info to click through. Be sure the registered guest list shows anyone you want to join you. (I had to remove Sarah, since she already registered, before completing my own registration.)
Here are available dates for the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure AP preview as of 10 am EST. Hour time slots are available between noon and 8 pm. I didn’t check every single day, but things are looking pretty good right now!
Unfortunately for those of you who are not Annual Passholders, the sheer volume of preview dates means general public soft openings are pretty unlikely. It’s always possible there will be some scattered in there (maybe September 20-22, 2021?) but we highly doubt it. This is probably it.
Finally, other terms from Walt Disney World, per that registration page:
Registration closes up to 7 days prior to the start of the event or when event reaches capacity (whichever occurs first). Event experience and available offerings are subject to change without notice and advance registration is required. You have 5 minutes to complete your selection before availability is released. Once a request has been submitted, you will not be able to modify your reservation.
For each event, the calendar displays dates based on availability and the group size you entered.
How to Modify Your Selection BEFORE Completing Transaction
- To remove a Passholder from your group, please select “Back” to return to Step 1 and edit your Guest List.
- To remove an event from your list, please select “Release Reservation” under the Special Events section.
What to Bring to the Event
- Valid Annual Pass and a government-issued photo ID for each registered Passholder.

- Valid, activated eligible Walt Disney World Annual Pass and photo ID are required at check-in for each Passholder and each Passholder Guest.

We love you Tom…But Disney knows who they “send” their invites to. Give an influencer a seed and they’ll sell an orchard.
I didn’t get an invite, Sarah did, and we had multiple problems during the process. That’s preferential treatment? I dunno, but something tells me that if Disney were being calculated or had ulterior motives, the process wouldn’t have played out like that. We spend a ton of money at Walt Disney World each year, and yet have constant problems with their IT and online systems.
Like all of Disney’s automated systems, these invitations–and problems along the way–seem to be luck of the draw.
If, by some miracle, they do a soft open for the General public, how does it work? Do you wander past the queue and look for cast members? Grease a palm at guest relations? Do you have any connections in the culinary rat community? Can I tell them “Tom sent me”?
They’d quietly open the land/area and allow guests to enter. There wouldn’t be any announcement, it would just be open one day. Social media and blogs pick up on this type of stuff within minutes of it happening, so following along online (rather than lingering around France) is your best bet.
However, it’s highly unlikely. It put the chances at under 5% given all of these AP preview dates.
I am getting an error when it asks me for the id# on my annual pass that says my pass is already linked to my account and a number to call. When I called it just states that all lines are busy and to call back. Are others being asked to put in the id# on the pass? I followed Tom’s directions about how to log in, so I am already logged in to my account which does have my AP linked to it already.
Thanks
This is similar to the problem Sarah had in trying to register me and we’ve heard of several others having the same issue. One possible solution is having a friend/family member in My Disney Experience try to register and see if you appear for them. Otherwise, it needs to be resolved by tech support. Sorry! 🙁
Doesn’t seem like they’re letting Theme Park Select in yet – My mom (platinum AP) is the only one it will let us register on our account – my husband and i both have Theme Park Select. Bummer!
Sarah’s mom had that same issue with the same AP. Hopefully it ends up working, but I’m not overly optimistic.
We have the DVC Annual Pass and it doesn’t seem to like that 🙁 Bummed as we’ll be there the 22nd – 29th!
Tom, So they reached out to AP holders?
We have an upcoming DVC stay, but haven’t received anything.
Same here
It keeps asking me to link my APs. When I enter r in the # it says that the AP is linked to another account. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
Are all types of APs eligible? I have a gold pass but others in my family have the Theme Park Select pass. When registering, I only see myself in the guest list. Even if my wife logs in through her account, it only shows me as the eligible guest. What gives?
We didn’t see the AP email until about an hour after it went through. My husband waited about 45 minutes and then had our pick of numerous dates and times. It was actually quite easy for Disney.
Just got it. Wait was over an hour, took about 35 minutes. Still a lot of availability at 1045 am.
I’m getting this error when I enter my passholder iD
Sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time; please try again later. For assistance, call (407) 939-4357 or visit any Walt Disney World ticketing location. THANKS FOR THE LINK! HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR – BUT IT WORKED GREAT!
Darn – we are DVC members and only arrive 9/23 so we miss the DVC dates 🙁
Thank you for posting the “CLICK HERE” to access the link as I nor anyone in my party received the pass holder preview registration link/email! We live in NY and will happen to be at WDW during the offered dates…which never seems to work out for us when they do a preview. I was able to secure 9/15 from 3-4pm for all 3 of us!!! If it wasn’t for you this most likely wouldn’t have happened for us….MANY THANKS FROM MYSELF AND MY FAMILY…YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!
Tom,
I already have an MK reservation for the Sept 6th but got a slot for 8pm that night. Do I need to cancel my Mk reservation and book epcot or they will just let us in epcot at our time? What do you think?
Funny, mine didn’t show any weekend availability, but my son got on a couple minutes after me and it did!
Got a reservation for September 4. Waited in the que for about 20 minutes, registration was easy. There were various dates in September, the 4th was the earliest. Similar process as the Galaxies Edge previews
Hi Tom,
Also received the email yesterday for DVC members, sign on was at 11am. The dates were September 5th, 17th, and 20th with your choice of date and also time. It just so happened to be during the time we will be there so I’m not sure if this was a factor in choosing who to send the email too. Very excited to be one of the first to ride!!
Yeah, you had to have a DVC reservation to book. We tried and it wouldn’t let us!
We just got ours! Waited about 30 minutes. It had all the passholders in our house listed. Lots of dates/times in September. Woohoo!
Excellent–hope we’re in soon. I’ll take screenshots and update!
