Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure AP Preview Dates & How to Register
Walt Disney World has opened booking for Annual Passholder previews of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot’s World Showcase France pavilion. We have the details and how to register.
Reservations can be made by any Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. You don’t need the “Squeak Peek” invitation email–all you need is the link, and fortunately, we have that!
You will not need to make a separate Disney Park Pass reservation to enter Epcot on the day of your preview, but applicable Walt Disney World AP blockout dates do apply. (Fortunately, there are a ton of eligible dates, so that should be easy to work around.)
Here are Walt Disney World’s other terms and conditions for the preview: “Limit one preview registration per Passholder. Capacity and space are limited, and subject to availability. Registrations are valid only during specific preview dates and hours. Entry is not guaranteed. Advance registration required. Valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass Card and valid photo ID required at check-in.
“Preview registration and entry are non transferable and void if sold or otherwise transferred. Operating hours, activities and locations are subject to availability, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability. This preview registration does not require an additional Disney Park Pass Theme Park reservation to enter EPCOT on the day of your preview. Valid Theme Park admission required for Park entry and subject to applicable pass blockouts.”
Here’s a look at the full invitation email, in case you didn’t receive it:
For whatever reason, only some Annual Passholders received this invite. It’s not because they’re the only ones eligible…that’s just how Disney’s communications system seems to work. Our batting average for anything from Walt Disney World, whether it be paper mailers, magnets, or emails, is about .500, at best.
Sarah received this one, but I did not.
To register for the FREE Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Annual Passholder Previews at Walt Disney World, do the following, IN THIS ORDER:
- Open an incognito/private browser window
- Sign-in on DisneyWorld.com
Note that this link is sometimes temperamental. You may have to log-out of My Disney Experience, log back in, etc., in order to get it to work.
Here is the process for registering, along with a couple of important tips to avoid further headaches…
While you’re in the waiting room, we STRONGLY recommend that you copy the queue ID. That’s your unique code, and will allow you to keep your place in the queue if something happens. With Disney’s new virtual waiting room system, you should always do this–not just for this Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure preview.
In fact, something did happen to me–Stitch ate my page while trying to register. I copy and pasted that link into a new browser tab and picked up where I left off. Phew.
We had another issue while trying to register–it would not let Sarah add me for some reason.
She was able to register herself and would’ve been able to register other friends with connected MDX accounts, but not me for some odd reason. (This has happened to us before.) Fortunately, I was also in the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure virtual queue and only 2 minutes behind her.
Here’s the first screen you’ll encounter after the wait is over.
Pretty standard info to click through. Be sure the registered guest list shows anyone you want to join you. (I had to remove Sarah, since she already registered, before completing my own registration.)
Here are available dates for the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure AP preview as of 10 am EST. Hour time slots are available between noon and 8 pm. I didn’t check every single day, but things are looking pretty good right now!
Unfortunately for those of you who are not Annual Passholders, the sheer volume of preview dates means general public soft openings are pretty unlikely. It’s always possible there will be some scattered in there (maybe September 20-22, 2021?) but we highly doubt it. This is probably it.
Finally, other terms from Walt Disney World, per that registration page:
Registration closes up to 7 days prior to the start of the event or when event reaches capacity (whichever occurs first). Event experience and available offerings are subject to change without notice and advance registration is required. You have 5 minutes to complete your selection before availability is released. For each event, the calendar displays dates based on availability and the group size you entered.

Made a reservation but it does not show up anywhere. It would not print when I attempted it
while waiting for a DVC rep an announcement said to ‘watch for an AP announcement on the website.
Was also offered to DVC Members but there were bugs in the web page for booking and it was reported that there was a special IT group manually entering reservations into the database.
Event is Full
Thank you for your interest, but this event has reached capacity and registration is now closed.
Please continue to check your inbox for future Passholder experiences.
Does anyone know if government-issued photo ids are really required for children to check in?
Update:
I called the number given when I received the message about my AP being already linked. I waited on hold 4 hours (yes 4 hours!!! and almost gave up). The guy who helped me was very helpful. After giving him my information, he looked me up and asked me what date and time I wanted. No problem. He said I should get an email with my approval in a couple days. I hope everything goes through, but at least I feel like it was a positive!
Thanks Tom And Sarah. I clicked on your link and was able to immediately reserve a spot for a party of three on 9-27-21. Thanks for keeping us up to date on all things “Disney”!
Wouldn’t you know we are there the last week in August. Oh well. We will be back in January.
Just got off of the phone with Disney about the log in issues I was having. She said that the reservations are now full but put me on a recovery list. I now have to wait about a week to see if I get a reservation.
Couldn’t get a pass for my 3 year old (who IS a pass holder) but got one for the rest of us. She will be devastated if they exclude her!
We have the weekday select pass – one of the least expensive. I got the link and got reservations with no problems.
I got the email at 9:10 AM this morning but didn’t see it until around 9:30. Platimum Passholder, no DVC. I clicked on the link in the email and it told me the wait time was “more than an hour,” so maybe I need to turn in my Disney fan badge, but I went for a run as I didn’t want to sit there waiting for my time to come up. (Wait time estimate did not adjust during the 10 minutes I spent getting ready to run.) Came back about an hour later to find the page had changed to the MDE sign-in page so I thought I’d lost my place in line, but I signed in and was able to make a reservation for 9/8. There was still lots of availability at that time for weekdays, at least, but that was almost 4 hours ago. I hope those having difficulty finally found success!
Shocked that I received a push notification. I was driving home from an epcot visit yesterday. I was able to pull off the road at the 3 min to go point. It was great that I could reserve spots for my group. Now, we’ll hope the ride actually runs on our chosen date: 9/15. We have silver passes so yesterday was a return to the fun (overcast skies made it bearable).
Thanks Tom and Sarah for the heads up! We were not eligible for the DVC dates due to no reservation, and did not receive an AP email. I just booked us with no delay or glitches (1PM Eastern/6th) for the 9th following your directions exactly. Sorry to other Gold DVC AP’s having trouble. For what it’s worth keep trying as I was very surprised at the number of dates still showing availability-mostly or perhaps all non-weekend however.
My daughter and I got one – I’m a little surprised I actually got the email this time. Seems like we’re about 50% average as well for those AP things.
Stitch did eat the page but I was able to refresh and it went through no problem. Now we need to plan a quick (cheap) trip from Texas for just a couple of days!
Getting this:
Unfortunately, we did not find events that meet your criteria at this time due to one or more of the following reasons:
You have already made a reservation for this event
Your pass type or the pass type of someone on your Registered Guest list isn’t eligible for this event
Your party size is too large
The event is sold out
Please check pass types and try adjusting your party size, Guest list and/or event date.
Hey Tom — do you think this add’s to your theory that AP’s are coming back on August 16- get this registration completed first? Thanks – love the website
Worked for me. Thank you so much. No issues.
We weren’t able to sign up. We kept getting the same error as others about our passes being linked to another account. We tried on both mine and my husband’s accounts. All phone lines are busy and no answer on chat. Very disappointing
I registered this morning for my wife and I with no problems. We are DVC Gold Annual Passholders.
