Behind Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland and behind Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom sits a sword in the stone. Guests frequently try to pull the sword from the stone, but even the strongest are unable. Merlin used to appear to pick a special child who had the power to pull the sword from the
Everything after this sentence of this review is superfluous: this is one of the best Walt Disney World books on the market, and given its size, photo quality, and low price, any Walt Disney World fan would be a fool not to purchase it. Head over to Amazon right now where it sells for $20
…And only two creatures were stirring, and ones name was Mickey Mouse. For the companion shot to this, check out this Disneyland photo. Time to lounge on the couch after a long day of family events, Pure Michigan, eating, and the Lions clinching their first playoff berth since 1999. All in all, a great day!
Up until 2007, I didn’t think Disney could make Cinderella Castle look any more breathtaking. Then Walt Disney World went and added stunning icicle lights to Cinderella Castle for Christmas. While the lights are no cake 😉 they are still quite stunning, and really put the Magic Kingdom in a festive mood. We’re quite excited
Don’t expect the Train Station to look this pretty decked out with Christmas decorations in 2011, as the powers that be have left the “Let the Memories Begin” marketing out to clash with the Christmas decorations. This lighting on Cinderella Castle only is used during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and the flowers in the bed surrounding Partners are only out for the fall. I cannot stress
I decided to deviate from my normal processing, and give this photo of one of the Halloween Fab Five statues in the hub at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom a more “fall-like” treatment, with a sepia-like look to it. The hub really looks great during the fall, and these statues are a big reason why!
The layer of “smoke” surrounding the Main Street, USA Train Station during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is quite cool, but not exactly easy to photograph. In fact, when you mix the thick smoke with the extremely rich purple lighting blanketing the Train Station, you get
At Walt Disney World, even decorations for the normally ghoulish Halloween holiday look cheerful. Take this pumpkin, for instance. He has a happy, albeit toothy grin that can’t help but put Guests in a happy mood.
