Top 2021 Amazon Prime Day 2 Disney Deals
Amazon Prime Day 2021 is here with great discounts on Disney toys, books, collectibles, travel accessories, and more! This post rounds up the best deals for your Walt Disney World vacations plus products that will make great gifts…for yourself or others. (Updated June 22, 2021 with NEW Day 2 Deals!)
For those unfamiliar with it, Prime Day is essentially Amazon’s Christmas in July late June sale, and a “flex” on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It certainly makes sense for the retail behemoth to create its own money-saving holiday, as they’re already the single-biggest source of deals in November and December. The last few years we’ve bought about the same amount on Prime Days as we have on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
For 2021, Amazon’s Prime Day is yet another example that nature is healing. Last year, the event was postponed from its normal summer slot until early fall. That was either because most people were stuck at home over the summer and spending ample amounts regardless, or because of supply chain issues. Either way, we were treated to a modified and scaled back Prime Day. This year, Amazon’s annual event is back in full force, delivering two days of epic deals on products from small businesses and the top brands…
This post aggregates the best deals likely to be of interest to Disney fans and travelers. Some items are Disney-specific, others are travel gadgets that are not exclusively Disney-related. The former are fun items for collectors, parents, people doing gift shopping, and so on. The latter are practical items that would be useful for Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacations.
If you want a broader selection of the current deals, check out Amazon’s Spotlight Prime Day Deals page for the biggest savings and most popular deals. The best deal of all is universally applicable–receive a free $10 Amazon Promotional credit with purchase of a $40 Amazon Gift Card–use promo code GCPRIME2021 or click the “apply code” button on your account from that page.
As with any of these promotional event sales, some “special offers” are great and some are…not so special. We’ve combed through the various deals and are sharing only those we deem good. We receive a small commission from your purchases, so buying through these links helps support the site. However, neither the price you pay nor our recommendations (or lack thereof) are impacted by that.
We’ve purchased these items ourselves, have friends who recommend them, or are debating the purchase. It should be clear from each item’s description how we feel about a particular product. On with the list of the Best Amazon Prime Day Deals for 2021…
Disney Travel Accessories
Personal Neck Fan – We’ve been seeing these in the parks over the last month and, I’ll be honest, at first I thought they were headphones. It took me an embarrassingly long time to question why are so many people wearing headphones around their necks at Walt Disney World?! If you want to splurge on an even fancier model, check out the TORRAS Coolify Portable Air Conditioner Neck Fan.
Anyway, the neck fan was our first order of Amazon Prime Day 2021. I’m excited to give them a try and find out what all the hype is about–look for a review in our updated Ultimate Disney Parks Packing List very soon!
Anker Slimline Phone Charger 10000mAh External Battery Pack – Great for charging phones while at Walt Disney World, which will be imperative if you’re using My Disney Experience or social media. This one has good capacity–ideal for more than one person. Anker is one of our preferred brands (along with Aukey).
Apple AirPods Pro – For their size, these headphones are remarkable. Active noise cancellation provides immersive sound and silences the outside world, which is great for flights, sleeping in noisy hotel rooms, aboard buses, or other distracting environments. Conversely, transparency mode is excellent for hearing background noise, like while running or lounging poolside.
Collapsible Water Bottles – This patented, BPA-free design is a cool idea that’s new-to-us, but maybe a bit gimmicky? Also, we are strong advocates of water bottles with filters since Walt Disney World’s water has a funky flavor. So depending upon your tastes, this option might be better.
Packing Cube Sets (Multiple Sizes) – Another staple of our packing list, we are fans of packing cubes and these are a solid deal. However…
Compression Packing Cubes – …We prefer these over the normal ones. They key here is that these are compression packing cubes, which normally cost more and will save you even more space when packing. If you need the suitcase space, we recommend this set over the first one. (Note: there are multiple size options available with this Prime Day deal–pick the one that suits your needs best!)
BCOZZY Chin Supporting Travel Pillow – This is new-to-us travel pillow is incredibly popular, rating better than our favorite pillow (that had its design cheapened and no longer scores well). At 52% off, it’s worth checking out!
Outlander Packable Backpack – Takes up minimal room in your suitcase and more importantly is super lightweight. That minimizes the amount of back-sweat you’ll have to endure from the Florida heat and humidity. 😉 (Seriously, it makes a world of difference!)
SOLD OUT Travelpro Crew Carry-On Luggage – Finally, a deal on the suitcase I use! This is a newer and slightly different version of the only luggage I own, and have used exclusively for hundreds of days per year (minus last year) for almost the last decade. It’s incredibly durable and nice, which is why Travelpro is the preferred luggage of so many pilots and flight attendants.
Disney Books (Buy 2, Save 50% on 1)
Amazon has a Prime Day promo offering 50% off one book if you purchase 2 eligible titles. To take advantage, simply add 2 items from the books on this page to your Shopping Basket via the “Add to Basket” button. The offer will be automatically applied to your total at checkout. Here are our recommended titles from this offer:
The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – We had been waiting for a deal on this brand-new book about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and now it’s here! Per the description, this offers an inside look at the magic behind the Disneyland and Walt Disney World lands, documenting the art and innovations that led to the creation of Galaxy’s Edge. Featuring hundreds of full-color concept artworks, sketches, blueprints, photographs, and more, the book reveals Walt Disney Imagineering’s creative process.
The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company — This is past Disney CEO Bob Iger’s memoir, and it’s shockingly candid and compelling. Iger is clearly a smart and interesting guy, but all of his interviews are played fairly close to the vest and feel meticulously scripted. This is a sharp and fascinating departure from that. Highly recommended!
Walt Disney Imagineering: A Behind the Dreams Look at Making More Magic Real — This huge book by WDI is a classic that belongs in the library of every fan. This beautiful title is actually a sequel to another excellent book that’s now out of print (that we’d also highly recommend).
Maps of the Disney Parks — The next two books are staples of our gift-giving guides, and that’s in part because they are both titles that look really nice, making them eye-catching gifts. We covered this in our Top 10 Disney Park Books list, but it bears mentioning again.
Poster Art of the Disney Parks — If you have to choose between the ‘Maps’ book above or the ‘Poster Art’ book, this is the better one, hands down. It features posters from around the world, including a ton you’ve never seen before. This book was curated by Walt Disney Imagineering, and it shows—the design and artwork is fantastic.
Eat Like Walt: The Wonderful World of Disney Food — This is neither a cookbook nor a phony attempt at sharing foods Walt Disney might’ve liked. Rather, it’s an interesting look at the history of the parks, along with rare photos. Truly an excellent book—be sure to clip the coupon below the price to save even more!
Holiday Magic at the Disney Parks: Celebrations Around the World — A brand new release for this Christmas, I can’t offer a review or recommendation for this…because it’s sitting wrapped up under our tree. However, we did see a panel about the book at the last D23 Expo, and it looked spectacular. Between that and the excellent track record of these authors, we were sold!
The Disney Monorail: Imagineering a Highway in the Sky — If you’re a fan of Disney’s monorails (who isn’t?!), you’ll love this. There’s a ton of concept art and photos, as the authors take readers on a historical ride the Highway in the Sky. From Walt Disney’s Progress City ambitions to the future of this innovative transportation system.
DisneyWar — We always highly recommend DisneyWar. It’s the most fascinating tale of modern-day corporate drama during the Eisner years that reads like page-turning fiction. Normally, we recommend picking up a cheap used copy (which is still cheaper than this deal). If you need a second title and want something new, it’s a great pick.
Disney Storybook Collection — A large, 300+ page hardcover book retelling several classic Disney stories complete with 250 pieces of artwork from the Disney Archives.
Thomas Kinkade Disney Coloring Books – Mentioning this because there are a lot of Kinkade-Disney fans. Unfortunately, none of the puzzles or calendars made the 3 for 2 deal. We love those, but are not huge fans of the coloring books. (Isn’t the whole point of Kinkade the color and light?!) Still a great deal.
The Muppet Christmas Carol: The Illustrated Holiday Classic – If you’ve followed this blog around Christmas-time, you know we are huge fans of Muppet Christmas Carol. I’ve seen it more than any other film (the next closest is Terminator 2, for those keeping score at home).
One Day at Disney – I don’t like this book, but it’s a popular one and the price is right at 51% off. YMMV.
Disney Toys
Disney Princess Fashion Doll Castle – Kids can imagine the “Comfy Squad” Disney Princess characters lounging in style in this large doll house, which stands over 32 inches tall. Castle includes a sofa, vanity, stool, wardrobe, shell-inspired chair, and a bean bag chair so kids can imagine all the dolls relaxing together. Can’t speak to the quality or appeal of this, but at 60% off, it’s a great deal!
Thomas Kinkade The Disney Collection 4 in 1 Multipack Puzzles — 4 puzzles in 1 package, with 500 pieces per puzzle! There are a bunch of regular Kinkade puzzles on sale for Prime Day, but this is not one of them. It’s just a “regular” deal, which still seems pretty good.
Disney Eye Found It Card Game — A card game version of the standard board game that we normally recommend—and an even better deal (40% off).
Codenames: Disney Family Edition — The #1 party game combined with beloved Disney characters and artwork from the past 90 years. Codenames includes both pictures and words—determine clues and guesses based on the codes given, but watch out for the wrong answers.
Star Wars Mandalorian The Child Travel Jewelry Box Organizer – I question whether this is truly a “travel” product, but I’m obviously not the target audience. Either way, the Baby Yoda design is cool and the discount is great. Be sure to clip the coupon!
Disney Treasures from The Vault, LE Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Plush – These Amazon exclusive dolls are made in partnership with D23. Each month a new limited edition commemorative plush is being revealed as part of the 2021 Treasures From the Vault Plush collection. Other months/characters are also on sale, including Donald Duck, Bambi, and Pinocchio.
Disney Frozen Pull Apart Olaf Plush – This Amazon-exclusive Olaf pulls apart and lights up. I’m not really sure why, but that’s pretty cool–and it’s half off! (Price, not pieces.)
Raya and The Last Dragon Sisu Dragon Doll – Good deal on this 26 inches long character plush from the new Disney movie.
Fire 7 Kids Tablet — An educational and entertainment tool for kids with parental controls, goal-setting, time limits, plus 1 FREE year of Amazon Kids+ with access to over 20,000 apps, games, books, videos, audiobooks, and educational content from PBS Kids, Nickelodeon, Disney, and more.
Disney Villains Monopoly — This is a fun twist on Monopoly, with Poison Apple and Power cards, plus players hiring infamous Disney villains, and buying and selling Villain Contracts instead of locations. You can’t go wrong at 53% off!!!
Disney Princess Monopoly Junior — Same idea, but with princesses and for younger kids!
Disney-Pixar Monopoly — Another great Monopoly deal. (Personally, even though I love Pixar, the Villains edition looks the most interesting and unique.)
Cricut Items – I say the same thing whenever this stuff is on sale: I have no idea what any of it does. Sarah said I should add it because her friends love this for Disney use, and there are some great deals on the various products.
Echo Mickey Mouse Wall Clock – A new smart device that uses Alexa to set voice timers and more. On the one hand, this sounds kinda pointless or like overkill to me. On the other hand, I thought the same about the Echo speakers and love those…and this looks really slick!
Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals that are totally unrelated to Disney on the Amazon Prime Day homepage. We recommend browsing for yourself a bit, and checking back often, as new deals are regularly appearing–and disappearing. Just be mindful of the fact that some of these offers are time-sensitive, so you don’t want to spend too much time procrastinating and end up losing out!
Also, check back here throughout the deal, as I’ll share more Lightning Deals as they become available if they’re any good. Oh, and if you find anything that you think would be useful for other Disney fans, please share in the comments below!

Any tips on the best Disney or travel-related Amazon Prime Day deals for 2021 that we’ve missed? What have you scored thus far during Prime Day? Have any product recommendations (or dislike any of the items listed here)? Any questions? We love hearing from readers, so please share any other thoughts or questions you have in the comments below!
Tom,
I noticed that there are some great deals on Rokinon camera lenses right now. I think there are some great wide angle options for Disney parks photography that you’ve recommended before!
Unless you live in Canada where Amazon Prime Days have been postponed due to bloody covid…..
Thanks for the list. I’ll add another comment that the Travelpro carry-on luggage is great. We don’t travel as much as you, but we’ve had ours for years and it still as good as new.
The neck fan is an interesting concept. I’ve had 2 little $7 fan that plugged into an external battery before, but I broke both of them in pretty short order.
I bought the Gonex packing cubes last year from your 2020 Prime list and I LOVE THEM!!! I can fit so many more clothes than it seems possible in such small bags. Bought them for my family for XMAS gifts. Highly recommend!!
When I look at the link for the neck fan it doesn’t come up as a prime deal and shows as 39 dollars? Is it supposed to be a different brand or is that the one?
That deal sold out–I’ve added two different models to the list that are now discounted for Prime Day!
Tom Bricker, you are THE WORST! I was determined to avoid Amazon Prime Day this year, but I’ll soon be the proud owner of a neck fan and compression packing cubes, to replace my standard packing cubes. Ordered via your links, natch. Hope to meet you and Sarah to tell you ‘Thanks for nothin’ in the parks one day!
Went to buy the Travelpro carry-on and it is already sold out =(
i have that neck fan, got for free by doing a product review. i recommend it to everyone. amazing the power it has!
Thanks Tom, I always look forward to picking up cool Disney stuff while supporting your superior blog. I highly recommend something I bought two years ago thanks to YOU, Marc Davis In His Own Words. Still at a pretty good price. Just picked up a bunch of stuff including the Star Was Galaxy’s Edge book. As Oliver Twist once said, “More recommendations please.”
That book is absolutely fantastic–one of my all time favorites. The price is good right now, but it’s not a Prime Day deal. Not much in the way of books yet today–hopefully that changes!
Started with regular packing cubes several years ago. Took a few more years to get the rest of the fam on board. Now hopefully I can convert them to compression cubes. Got some early Christmas shopping done with the AirPods too. Thanks Tom!
Excellent! The AirPods Pro have been a game changer for me. Also have bigger Bose headphones, but seldom use them now.
Getting a bunch of park stuff! Thanks for all the ideas! Happy to give you the credit via the link!
Thanks!!!
Ordered compression cubes through your link – this may be revolutionary for our kids repacking their bags at the end of camp, and we’ve been trying to do carryon only recently. Genius!
Hope it works out for you!
We’ve been carry-on only for several years now, including for a couple multi-month (and multi-season) trips. Obviously, it doesn’t work for everyone, but I’d never go back to lugging around multiple suitcases.
We have the Mickey Echo wall clock and the light up timer is awesome!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it!
Can’t wait to see neck fan vs Frog Togg comparison post!
Haha. I’m slightly skeptical of the neck fan, but hopefully it lives up to the hype and new popularity!
The Echo wall clock is actually amazing if you have young kids because it does a visual countdown for timers! Highly, highly recommend it.
Good to hear!
Tom, this one is definitely more expensive but it packs a peltier cooler within. Reviews are good & seem legit using Fakespot.

Thanks for the recommendation!
Tom, thanks for the neck fan. This is a unique design compared to others. I’m going to give these a shot for our August trip. Hope you make a % for the redirect!
