Food Guide to Christmas 2023 at Disneyland

Disneyland celebrates Christmas from November 10, 2023 until January 7, 2024 and one of the big ways you can get into the spirit of the season is with festive food! This guide to drinks, dishes & desserts is ridiculously long–with literally hundreds of holiday snacks you can enjoy in the parks, hotels, and Downtown Disney.

While you’re eating your way around Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and beyond, you can also enjoy a ton of holiday offerings. In Disneyland, see the dazzling lights in “it’s a small world” Holiday and Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, and watch as two holidays collide in Haunted Mansion Holiday. Special entertainment includes A Christmas Fantasy Parade and “Believe … In Holiday Magic” Fireworks.

Over at Disney California Adventure, there’s World of Color – Season of Light and Christmas in Cars Land, plus Disney ¡Viva Navidad! and everything else for Festival of the Holidays. As noted above, the full list of food for Christmas 2023 at Disneyland Resort is ridiculously long. I haven’t counted, but it’s easily 100+ items, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more like 200-300 dishes. Accordingly, rather than saving my commentary for the end–where most of you probably won’t see it, because you’ll realistically check out once this gets to Downtown Disney–I’m going to dispense with it at the beginning.

The short version is that this is a stacked lineup. Christmas is always the best food holiday at Disneyland, but it seems like they’ve taken it up a notch this year. Not only does the cuisine look better for Christmas than Halloween 2023 (which was very strong!), but it has bounced back after a few lackluster years and the disappointing (IMO) options for Disney100, which could mostly just be described as “normal stuff, but with food coloring!”

Potential highlights for me include the Chocolate Mint Shortcake at Plaza Inn, Hyperdrive Holiday Chicken Sandwich at Galactic Grill (that’s probably a mistake, but I can’t resist…), Teddi Barra Holiday Funnel Cake at Hungry Bear Restaurant, pretty much everything at Jolly Holiday Bakery (new & returning), Gingerbread & Mint Chip Churro, Hollywood Beef Dip at Award Wieners, Christmas Tree Cone at Cozy Cone Motel, Caramel Pecan Roll at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, pretty much everything on the all-new menu at Paradise Garden Grill, and (I can’t believe I’m saying this, but…) Filipino Feast Burrito at Studio Catering Co.

These are just the dishes that stuck out to me upon my first pass-through of the menus. There are undoubtedly other dishes and spots that’ll be fantastic, too. Anyway, here’s a full list of the food for Christmas 2023 at Disneyland Resorts…
