All 2026 Disney World Discounts

Looking for the best discounts for Walt Disney World? This post offers money-saving details & dates on special offers for the general public, Disney+ subscribers, Annual Passholders, Visa cardholders, and Florida residents. It covers deals on resorts, theme park tickets, dining & more.

Walt Disney World just released a half-dozen different discounts for 2026. Some of these are incredibly aggressive and unprecedented, whereas others are par for the course this time of year. This is the year’s big release of discounts, spanning travel dates from now through Christmas. However, it is far from the last release, with more last-minute deals expected for summer (albeit narrower and with less availability), as well as a full slate for Fall 2026 and beyond.

If anything, there should be great discounts on the horizon throughout the year. ‘Revenge travel’ is finished, Universal’s Epic Universe is open, and Walt Disney World has no new rides or lands opening until Late 2027. For the next ~2 years, Walt Disney World will need to incentivize tourists to return with better deals! You can subscribe to our free email newsletter for instant alerts when new discounts are released.

We’ve consistently notified newsletter subscribers on the days that deals go live early in the morning, which is often a significant head start before Disney makes an official announcement. That can make a huge difference when booking–you’ll have better availability and won’t have to wait in a virtual queue or for hours on hold.

Anyway, we’ll give you a heads up ASAP once deals are released along with objective analysis about the quality of each discount based on historical precedent and comparisons to other special offers that are currently available. So if you want to know which is better for your family, we’ll walk you through that.

There have been better Walt Disney World discounts throughout the last year-plus than there have been at any point in the previous 4 years, and we’re increasingly seeing Walt Disney World pull from the “2019 playbook” for special offers. There were some truly scorching savings for summer (with the lowest prices since 2018!), and we expect a repeat of that in Summer 2026.

Regardless, there should be more unique and unprecedented discounts throughout the next year, as Walt Disney World will need to find ways to compete (indirectly) with Universal’s Epic Universe if they actually intend upon benefiting from that rising tide.

They will want to not only capture some of the visitors coming to Central Florida, but convince them to stay on-site at Walt Disney World instead of Universal Orlando. That’s going to be a tough sell, and will require good deals.

If you’re thinking about booking one of the many discounts that’s currently available for Walt Disney World, we cannot overemphasize the importance of pricing out multiple options. Don’t just look at the marketing and assume one special offer is best for you based upon its headline savings.

This has always been the case with Disney discounts, but it’s even truer than normal right now–and even with apples to apples comparisons. For example, we’ve found instances of “up to 30% off” room rates actually resulting in lower savings than “up to 25% off” room rates.

If you want to help determining what discounts are available for your travel dates and which resort will work best for your family, we recommend requesting a quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, a no-fee Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (they’re paid by Walt Disney World–so free to you!).

Their travel agents will do the math for you, booking your vacation with the best-available special offer, and monitoring your package for future discounts that can be applied retroactively. Beyond that, they help take the stress out of planning and will assist with itineraries, dining reservations, and much more.

With that out of the way, here’s a rundown of what is available for the Annual Passholders, Floridians, active or retired US military personnel, Disney+ subscribers, and everyone else. We’ll start with a look at the newest deals, with ticket deals followed by resort savings for the general public, and then Florida resident and Annual Passholder rates:

Current 2026 WDW General Public Deals

Save Up to 25% Off Walt Disney World Resorts through Spring Break 2026 – If you’re looking for more straightforward savings, this is the general public room-only discount. Save up to 25% on rooms for stays most nights from now through April 30, 2026.

Note that this nightly discount is a sliding scale, with the lowest savings (but also lowest prices) at Value Resorts and highest at Deluxe Resorts. Our post offers analysis and recommendations about where to stay, and which travel dates offer the biggest bang for buck.

“Stay Longer & Save More” Up to 30% Off Room-Only Discount – Save on rooms at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels this summer—for stays most nights from May 1 to July 29 and again July 30 to October 4, 2026.

  • Save up to 30% for stays of 5 or more consecutive nights
  • Save up to 25% for stays of 1 to 4 consecutive nights

This is a great alternative to Free Dining, especially for guests with kids ages 3 to 9, light eaters, or anyone wanting to take advantage of the 4-Park Magic Ticket Deal (below).

Free Dining for Summer to Christmas 2026 – Enjoy a FREE Disney Dining Plan when you purchase a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option—for arrivals select nights from:

  • June 28 to October 3, 2026
  • October 19 to October 31, 2026
  • December 6 to December 21, 2026

Packages may be available for longer lengths of stay, but not shorter.

We strongly encourage doing the math and comparison shopping, because everything else on this list is stackable, whereas Free Dining is not. Remember, there’s no such thing as a free lunch!

4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket – This is back for a fourth consecutive year and better than last year. This starts at $99/day for visits from May through October 2026. It comes with caveats, but for guests who fit squarely within the parameters of this ticket, it’s an incredible deal.

Even if it’s not a perfect match for you, it might be workable with a bit of trip hacking. You can save $150 or more per ticket, so it’s definitely figuring out the ins and outs of this deal. Most notably, you can combine this with any of the room-only discounts above.

Targeted WDW Discounts

3-Day, 3-Parks Magic Walt Disney World Ticket Deal for Winter & Spring 2026 – Get a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $109 per day for visits through May 22, 2026. This ticket is for 1-day admission to EPCOT, 1-day admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, 1-day admission Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and zero (0) days admission to Magic Kingdom. Limit one theme park per day—for a total of 3 admissions, on 3 separate days.

This ticket offers huge savings, but with the major drawback of not being able to visit Magic Kingdom. That’s going to be a non-starter for many guests, as Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney World’s most popular park. However, the above post explains ways to work around this limitation and still save money (and have a better experience!) with the 3-Day, 3-Parks ticket.

Up to 40% Off Disney World FL & AP Resort Room Deals for Summer to Fall 2026 – Annual Passholders can save with this special offer, valid on rooms at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, most nights from July 30 to October 3, 2026.

  • Save up to 40% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
  • Save up to 35% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights

Resort tiers are the same as the above general public deal, meaning this is a sliding scale with the best savings (by and large) at Deluxe Resorts, followed by Moderates, then Values. The Florida resident deal is likewise largely the same, except it maxes out at 35% off.

Up to 40% Off Room Deal for Annual Passholders & Floridians in Summer 2026 – An almost identical deal to the one above, except for dates immediately before that: May 1 to July 29, 2026.

Up to 35% Off Disney World FL & AP Resort Discounts for Winter & Spring 2026 – Annual Passholders and Floridians can save of up to 35% off most dates from now through April 30, 2026.

3-Day or 4-Day Discover Disney Ticket – This special ticket just for Florida residents offers admission to all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. It’s available in two versions:

  • 4-Day Ticket – $64 per day, plus tax (total: $255 plus tax)
  • 3-Day Ticket– $79 per day, plus tax (total: $235 plus tax)

The Discover Disney Ticket is valid for use from now through May 16, 2026, with an advance park reservation.
These tickets can be used on consecutive or nonconsecutive days, and you can visit the same theme park more than once. Meaning you could enjoy 2 days at Magic Kingdom—then visit EPCOT on 2 separate days. This is the best ticket deal, especially at the 4-day duration, which is only $20 more than 3-days.

2-Park Disney World Explorer Ticket – Florida residents can purchase a special 2-Day, 2-Park Ticket to EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park only—for just $190 plus tax (that’s $95 per day, plus tax). NOT valid for admission to Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This special 2-Day, 2-Park Ticket is valid for use from now through April 18, 2026, with an advance park reservation. This ticket can be used on nonconsecutive days, meaning you could theoretically use it during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts and then the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. Tickets and add-on options expire April 18, 2026. This is not a very good deal given the compromises required.

Other WDW Deals

Money-Saving Tips for Buying Walt Disney World Tickets – This covers the best ways to save money on tickets, from the current promotions to other hacks to cut costs. Since not everyone is eligible for targeted deals, and others won’t want to book special offers, this should be helpful in saving money in the absence of promos.

Renting DVC Points for Rooms at Walt Disney WorldThis allows you to rent use of Disney Vacation Club accommodations from a member or business. DVC rental is safe, easy, and cheaper than standard hotel reservations. It’s also a great way to “test drive” the accommodations before buying a DVC membership.

2026 Bounceback Deal Dates for Disney World – Bounceback discounts (also known as “Future Stay Offers”) are back! Bounce-back discounts are only available to travelers who are currently staying at one of Walt Disney World’s resort hotels to book during the duration of their trip.

Hotwire & Priceline Express Deals for Walt Disney World – These are opaque deals, meaning you can’t see the name of the hotel prior to booking, but it’s very easy to “reverse engineer” the hotel with clues provided in the listing plus good ole fashioned internet sleuthing. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen these blind booking deals since last fall…but are hoping they return soon!

PIN Code Discount at Walt Disney World – Unfortunately, this is not a discount you can choose to book–Walt Disney World needs to choose you, sending out targeted emails to those who meet their criteria. But as we discuss in this ‘how-to’ post, you can increase your odds of receiving a coveted PIN code by doing certain things on DisneyWorld.com or signing up for emails from the Walt Disney Company family of brands.

2026 Free Dining Deal at Disney World for UK – The first Free Dining discount to be released for 2026, this offers UK and Ireland residents the ability to receive a Free Disney Dining Plan with their vacation package; available for most arrival dates through December 19, 2026.

Discounts for Swan & Dolphin at Disney World – Many Walt Disney World fans dismiss these three third party hotels out of hand, but the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve are located on-site and within walking or boat distance of both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They also are eligible for Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours.

Aside from the Disney details and themes, these hotels offer better benefits and a superior location to most Value and Moderate Resorts. With prices starting at under $200 per night after discount, they are well worth considering.

2026 U.S. Military Salute Ticket & Room Discount at Walt Disney World – US military personnel can purchase promotional Walt Disney World theme park tickets at deeply discounted prices. Choose 4-Day, 5-Day or 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket (formerly the Disney Military Promotional Ticket) for visits through December 2026. Armed Forces Salute room-only discounts are also available at Walt Disney World for the same dates.

Canada Residents: Save Up to 32% Off WDW Tickets in 2026 – Walt Disney World is trying to lure international ‘whales’ who stay for longer trip durations but have unfavorable exchange rates–and might otherwise be apprehensive about visiting–with this aggressive ticket deal.

Future Walt Disney World Discounts

What’s past is prologue.

That expression holds true with Walt Disney World discounts, which play out in predictable patterns every year. Lately, Walt Disney World has been trying to incentivize planners to book early and save more.

That has meant discounts are often released earlier–and end earlier–than in the past. However, those dates haven’t been ‘done’ when the discount ends…they just release a new discount, often of a different nature or for a different group.

Walt Disney World has already released a “full” lineup of discounts all the way through Fall 2026. In the past, that would mean no more discounts between now and July 2026. However, last year we saw aggressive last-minute special offers that far surpassed the earlier release, and we’re expecting a repeat of that this year. Just be advised that availability is likely to be limited, and not all travel dates will be covered. We highly recommend booking a backup deal now, so you don’t get left empty handed.

We expect the next full round of discounts to be released between mid-June and early July 2026.

That should include the third wave of special offers for 2026, including marquee special offers for Halloween through Christmas 2026, focused mostly on room-only deals and maybe one unique promo. It’s also possible the U.S. enters a recession, and Disney scrambles to release more special offers to capture bookings before consumers reduce spending.

Whether these are general public special offers or just offers for Annual Passholders, Floridians, Disney+ subscribers, and/or Disney Visa cardholders remains to be seen and is likely dependent upon resort occupancy projections. Walt Disney World has been tinkering with more targeted discounts during the period of pent-up demand, so more of that wouldn’t be surprising–it really depends on whether that’s starting to slow or if travel is still booming.

While past is prologue, it’s also true that history doesn’t always repeat itself–sometimes it just rhymes.

WDW Discount Commentary

Finally, some words of warning and generalized commentary. In addition to the standard varying rates of the discount depending on precise travel dates, some room-only discounts have incredibly limited availability, especially room-only offers with peak travel dates. Don’t be surprised if you search for an otherwise qualifying hotel and are unable to book the discount due to zero availability.

In our searches, there are a number of situations close to holidays where these “discounts” would actually cost more, due to zero availability in standard rooms, meaning you have to upgrade to a room with a view, suite, or Club Level room. In other situations, there’s just nothing, period, so Disney’s site recommends upgrading resorts. (Such helpful suggestions for “saving” money!)

On the other hand, the discounts for off-season travel dates look pretty good in terms of availability. The additional upside to those dates is that you can choose off-season times to visit when crowds are lower and rack rates are lower, which means you’ll pay even less.

For more details on the pros and cons of taking advantage of a room-only discount, read our Room-Only Discounts at Walt Disney World post. This is our favorite discount because it’s straightforward and tends to offer the best value for us, and many other Walt Disney World regulars are fans of it for this same reason.

Typically, the best discounts are offered in the least popular months of the year–summer and early fall. The downside is that this is the heart of tropical storm season (see our Storm Season at Disney World Survival Guide for more info), and it’s hot and humid. These months are arguably the worst of the year in terms of weather, and that’s assuming you don’t have to deal with any hurricanes or intense tropical storms.

To this point, keep in mind that Walt Disney World does not offer discounts out of generosity. Discounts are offered because Disney wants to hit a target occupancy rate for its hotels–they are a way to entice people who otherwise might not do so to book a trip.

Disney only offers discounts to the extent that are needed to hit projected target occupancy rates. Once those targets are reached, discounts are not offered. Hence the lack of availability for some resorts and some room categories in any promotion.

This is all a long-winded way of saying that flexibility is important when it comes to Walt Disney World discounts, especially Free Dining. If you want to save the most money, there’s a decent chance you will need to choose your resort hotel based upon discount availability. If you’re able to be flexible on travel dates, that’s even better!

  1. Hi
I receieved a promo code for a room discount for up to 25%. The promo tag says save on another stay but this will be our first in June? I am a little confused. Also my trip is from June3-June11 2018 and this promo is thru 6/9. Should I wait for something better? I am a Disney Visa card holder and have a deposit at the BCR and that is my tippy top as far as funds! I am hoping for a good discount some way or we have PORS as the back up plan. So excited for this trip!!!! Thanks:)

  2. Hi Tom,
I have to say this is the first time I have ever been disappointed with Disney. I called the first day the new discounts were released during the AM hours, only to find out that they were all sold out at Pop Century for the Stay Play and Dine. Since Irma rained on our parade in September and we had to reschedule our first trip in several years, we chose a week that would fit our schedule and that historically fell during the Stay Play and Dine offer. How can they sell out within a 3 hours? They did offer a room discount but it actually only comes to a savings of $97… for the whole week. It comes out to a 2% savings. Argh!!!

    1. They probably never had any availability to begin with. Pop Century might already have a high occupancy rate during your visit (which wouldn’t be difficult, since they are already taking rooms out of the inventory to do the refurbishment), in which case they might not have it for all dates during the promo range.

Did you check any other resorts? I’d recommend doing that. Alternatively, if Pop Century is a must-have, I’d keep checking back periodically, as sometimes additional rooms are added to a promo.

  3. i received a unique offer code (up to 25% off) for travel dates of 3/11 –06/09/2018. i just called to see if i could add the extra 10% off for the visa disount and they wouldnt let me combine it. ???

    1. Unique Offer Codes don’t stack with other discounts. The Disney Visa discount is a different, distinct discount.

  4. Hi Tom!
We’re in the midst of planning our first family trip to Disney World for June 2018, and I signed up for a Disney Visa, to up my eligibility for discounts :-). The extra Visa discount for Jan-April 2018 states that you need to call to book your reservation…..but I’ve heard that the Disney lines can get tied up for hours. Is there a special phone number to call for reservations, if you’re a Disney Visa cardholder? Or am I stuck sitting and waiting on hold…?
    Thanks!

  5. I just received a Unique Offer code (CCSQ-K22Z) email last night…immediately called Disney to try and use the code and the limited availability was as small as I ever encountered and we return every year and are targeted with these offers. So the latest offer code was up to 30% off the deluxe room rates at select hotels…we had previously booked last month a non-discounted 6 night stay at Wilderness Lodge for the end of February 2018. Not only was the discount only 15% off at Wilderness Lodge…it did not apply to standard rooms, courtyard view room categories. The savings was next to nothing overall, even when upgrading to the queen with bunk beds room option the price was not much of a savings overall. We ended up having the Disney Rep find a full 30% room only discount offer at Grand Floridian for $300 less for our stay than Wilderness Lodge for the same dates. Needless to say, we jumped all over the Grand Floridian offer and made the switch! Perhaps the new additions and end of construction at Wilderness Lodge has that resort not needing to offer much of a discount in 2018.

  6. Not sure how the details exactly worked, but our room discount also had a component where we got an extra day of park hopper tickets essentially for free — which made it a better deal to do a package through WDW (room + park tickets) than to book park tickets separately.

We booked through Be Our Guest several months ago, and they applied this discount to our existing reservation without our even having been aware of it. Room upgrade + extra day of parkhopper tickets wound up being several hundred dollars less than the price we originally booked at. Thanks for the tip, we’ve been happy with that agency!

  7. I am having a difficult time finding out any information about January 2018 in Disney World with respect to anticipated promotions or deals. Do they not offer anything during this time frame? I am looking for the period between the end of the Holidays and February school vacations.

  8. I am really struggling with ‘on property’ vs ‘off property’. We are driving, have a teen and a toddler and want spacious accommodations. But we also want the most out of the experience as this is our first time. Additional suggestions????

    1. We’ve done both, and while it was nice to have an extra bathroom/bedroom when we stayed off-property, we’ve always stayed on-property since. There’s something special about staying in the “Disney bubble” rather than driving to and from each day (even if you do rent a car, or live close enough to have driven to Orlando) and with the Magical Express available to/from MCO, we’ve gone without a car most trips.

We’ve used various strategies to procure groceries, from Uber to delivery to picking up a few items at the gas station across from Disney Springs, and other than that have not felt a need to leave Disney property. Your choice, of course, but our preference is always to enjoy the perks and proximity of staying on property.

    2. We got home yesterday from staying at Pop Century. We had friends staying off-resort. I would recommend staying at the resort. There is a Free shuttle to & from airport with baggage pick up and room check-in when you arrive, if available. The parking, cost of parking, and drive time to get into resorts & out after a long day made it so worth it! Free shuttles to every park & Disney Springs were easily accessible. Plus, you can take the monorail, ferry and boats free as well. Also, magic bands mean no need to carry cash if you don’t want to have to do that. And, any purchases in-park will be delivered to your hotel!

  9. Do you expect significantly higher crowds/wait times for early/mid-November now? We booked that time frame due to the tendency of less people, so I am curious to see if you think it’ll be worse than years past.

  10. I received a pin code on 6/23 for the 10/8-12/24 dates. It was labeled as “Return to the Magic”. I couldn’t get it to work online so I called and spent 2 hours on the phone but was able to get 20% off of my existing moderate resort rooms. The CM’s that I talked to said they had been busy booking packages for those pin codes all day and availability had almost run out.

  11. Just booked our first stay at Disney’s Grand Californian! We couldn’t be more excited to stay here, we’ve been wanting to and could never justify the cost compared to the Disneyland Hotel, but this discount makes it less than the least amount we’ve ever paid at the Disneyland Hotel.

  12. Disney is getting rather chintzy and selective with the discounts. I had a room booked at CBR for Sept 9 – 16. When the Enchanted Escape rates came out, I rebooked and the rate went from 207 to 155 for water view 2 queen room. Then the passholder rates came out … lo and behold, they are HIGHER! The rate would be 163 for a passholder!!! If it weren’t for the construction GC we’re getting, I’d tell them to stuff it.

I do believe this first on site stay will be our last. We can get a 2 bedroom villa at the Sheraton Vistana for less than half what Disney wants, at a discount, for a moderate resort room.

    1. Saw much of the same. We snagged a 256/night Jambo house for 11-16 Sept on the Enchated discount. When annual pass discounts dropped there was nothing better. We wound up shifting our dates to 1-7 September and to the yacht on the annual pass discount for slightly more. But overall I was not happy with the discounts this year.

  13. Saw the same the first few days when I was looking at the holiday time discounts. However some more has opened up. Was able to book the 20% off discount on a standard room at AKL which actually did save us money.

  14. We booked in February for 3 rooms covering 9 people at the Pop Century. The dates are November 3-10, 2017. I just learned the free dining plan dates and Surprise! we are right before the November dates My daughter and son-in-law are having a difficult time getting money together for their portion of the trip. Are there any specials for those dates that can be of help? We all booked Magic Your Ways Packages plus Dining.

  15. The free dining program has launched today, but my stay in CBR during 10/31-11/14 is not in the eligible date. Any information about room discount? The room discount offer now is just eligible till 10/5. Keep my finger cross for further room discount dates in the future.Thank you!

    1. I’m wondering the same thing. Nov 5 to Nov 9th. I really was hoping dining or a better room discount for those dates as well

  16. **Off topic, but…Congrats, Tom on having your photo featured on the Disney parks website! What a gorgeous shot of a rainbow over Epcot 🙂

  17. i would like to visit disenyland california with my family i donot know how to get in touch my teelephone number in lebanon 00961 70872476

  18. Will the room discounts be applied to those that have all ready been booked? We made our reservations for Aug 20-26 several weeks ago.

  19. With the new summer room discounts just announced, has there been any indication that those with current reservations at Caribbean Beach Resort are able to switch to the lower rate AND keep the $75 gift card? I have a fall reservation at CBR and am curious if there is a chance the trip could get cheaper if a room discount offer is announced.

  20. We didn’t get any response from be our guest vacations. I filled out an online form in between Christmas and new years, received no response and then after new years, called and left a message asking to call back for package pricing and again no response.

    1. I also requested information from them last fall. Someone called right away and got my info and was supposed to get back with details. Never heard from them again. I booked my own trip which I just got back from. Luckily I enjoy the planning and research.
