All 2026 Disney World Discounts
Looking for the best discounts for Walt Disney World? This post offers money-saving details & dates on special offers for the general public, Disney+ subscribers, Annual Passholders, Visa cardholders, and Florida residents. It covers deals on resorts, theme park tickets, dining & more. Plus, predictions on when the next wave of promos will be released for 2027 travel dates.
Walt Disney World recently released a half-dozen different discounts for 2026. Some of these are incredibly aggressive and unprecedented, whereas others are par for the course this time of year. This was the year’s last big release of discounts, spanning travel dates from October through Christmas 2026.
However, it is still possible that more last-minute deals are released for travel dates in Late 2026, albeit narrower and with less availability. The next big discount release will cover travel dates in the first half of 2027, and is expected around the start of Disney’s new fiscal year. We’ve consistently notified newsletter subscribers on the days that deals go live early in the morning, which is often a significant head start before Disney makes an official announcement. That can make a huge difference when booking–you’ll have better availability and won’t have to wait in a virtual queue or for hours on hold.
Anyway, we’ll give you a heads up ASAP once deals are released along with objective analysis about the quality of each discount based on historical precedent and comparisons to other special offers that are currently available. So if you want to know which is better for your family, we’ll walk you through that.
The good news is that great discounts should be on the horizon throughout 2027. ‘Revenge travel’ is finished, Universal’s Epic Universe is open, and Walt Disney World has no new rides or lands opening until mid-to-late next year. And even then, Tropical Americas and Monstropolis won’t open in full until 2028, so we’re expecting another 18-24 months of aggressive deals as a result.
We’re already seeing this play out. There have been better Walt Disney World discounts throughout the last year-plus than there have been at any point in the previous 4 years, and we’re increasingly seeing Walt Disney World pull from the “2019 playbook” for special offers. For each of the last two years, there were some truly scorching savings for summer (with the lowest prices since 2018!), and we expect a repeat of that in Summer 2027.
Beyond the summer savings, there should be more unique and unprecedented discounts throughout the next year, as Walt Disney World will need to find ways to compete (indirectly) with Universal’s Epic Universe if they actually intend upon benefiting from that rising tide.
They will want to not only capture some of the visitors coming to Central Florida, but convince them to stay on-site at Walt Disney World instead of Universal Orlando. That’s going to be a tough sell, and will require good deals.
If you’re thinking about booking one of the many discounts that’s currently available for Walt Disney World, we cannot overemphasize the importance of pricing out multiple options. Don’t just look at the marketing and assume one special offer is best for you based upon its headline savings.

With that out of the way, here’s a rundown of what is available for the Annual Passholders, Floridians, active or retired US military personnel, Disney+ subscribers, and everyone else. We’ll start with a look at the newest deals, with ticket deals followed by resort savings for the general public, and then Florida resident and Annual Passholder rates:
Current 2026 WDW General Public Deals
Save Up to 25% Off Walt Disney World Resorts for Halloween to Christmas 2026 – If you’re looking for more straightforward savings, this is the general public room-only discount. Save up to 25% on rooms for stays most nights from October 4 through December 24, 2026.
Note that this nightly discount is a sliding scale, with the lowest savings (but also lowest prices) at Value Resorts and highest at Deluxe Resorts. Our post offers analysis and recommendations about where to stay, and which travel dates offer the biggest bang for buck.
Save 25% Off Disney World Resorts + Free Park Hopper Ticket Upgrade – Disney+ Perks members can save up to 25% on rooms and get free Park Hopper benefits added to your ticket when you purchase a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels this holiday season (and select dates this fall). Valid for stays most nights from:
- September 25 to October 8, 2026
- October 19 to 31, 2026
- November 15 to 28, 2026
- December 13 to 24, 2026
Like regular room-only discounts, this uses a sliding scale. Most Value Resorts are 15% off, most Moderates are 20% off, and most Deluxes are 25% off. There are a few cases where a lower tier resort moves up the savings chart, or a higher tier one drops down.
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket – This is back for a fourth consecutive year and better than last year. This starts at $99/day for visits from May through October 2026. It comes with caveats, but for guests who fit squarely within the parameters of this ticket, it’s an incredible deal.
Even if it’s not a perfect match for you, it might be workable with a bit of trip hacking. You can save $150 or more per ticket, so it’s definitely figuring out the ins and outs of this deal. Most notably, you can combine this with any of the room-only discounts above.
2-Park Disney World Explorer Ticket – Guests can purchase a special 2-Day, 2-Park Ticket to EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park only—for just $199 plus tax. NOT valid for admission to Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is a date-based ticket with start dates from now through September 30, 2026. It must be used within 4 days of the selected start date. If you’re taking a quick trip or plan on purchasing separate tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this ticket deal can work–but most guests will be better served by the 4-Park Magic Ticket.
Targeted WDW Discounts
Up to 40% Off Disney World FL & AP Resort Room Deals for Summer to Fall 2026 – Annual Passholders can save with this special offer, valid on rooms at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, most nights from now through October 3, 2026.
- Save up to 40% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
- Save up to 35% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights
Resort tiers are the same as the above general public deal, meaning this is a sliding scale with the best savings (by and large) at Deluxe Resorts, followed by Moderates, then Values. The Florida resident deal is likewise largely the same, except it maxes out at 35% off.
Up to 40% Off Room Deal for Annual Passholders & Floridians in Late 2026 – An almost identical deal to the one above, except for dates immediately after that: October 4 to December 24, 2026.
Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket for Summer & Fall 2026 – This special ticket just for Florida residents offers admission to all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Here are durations and prices for the Discover Disney Ticket for Summer and Fall 2026:
- 4-Day Ticket: $65 Per Day + Tax (Total Price: $259 + Tax)
- 3-Day Ticket: $80 Per Day + Tax (Total Price: $239 + Tax)
- 2-Day Ticket: $110 Per Day + Tax (Total Price: $219 + Tax)
Disney Summer 2-Day, 3-Day and 4-Day Tickets are valid for use from now through October 3, 2026, with an advance park reservation. Reservations are limited and subject to availability of reservations allocated to this ticket as determined by Disney, and park capacity.
These tickets can be used on consecutive or nonconsecutive days, and you can visit the same theme park more than once. Meaning you could enjoy 2 days at Magic Kingdom—then visit EPCOT on 2 separate days. This is the best ticket deal, especially at the 4-day duration, which is only $20 more than 3-days.
Other WDW Deals
Money-Saving Tips for Buying Walt Disney World Tickets – This covers the best ways to save money on tickets, from the current promotions to other hacks to cut costs. Since not everyone is eligible for targeted deals, and others won’t want to book special offers, this should be helpful in saving money in the absence of promos.
Renting DVC Points for Rooms at Walt Disney World – This allows you to rent use of Disney Vacation Club accommodations from a member or business. DVC rental is safe, easy, and cheaper than standard hotel reservations. It’s also a great way to “test drive” the accommodations before buying a DVC membership.
2026-2027 Bounceback Deal Dates for Disney World – Bounceback discounts (also known as “Future Stay Offers”) are back! Bounce-back discounts are only available to travelers who are currently staying at one of Walt Disney World’s resort hotels to book during the duration of their trip.
Hotwire & Priceline Express Deals for Walt Disney World – These are opaque deals, meaning you can’t see the name of the hotel prior to booking, but it’s very easy to “reverse engineer” the hotel with clues provided in the listing plus good ole fashioned internet sleuthing. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen these blind booking deals since last fall…but are hoping they return soon!
Discounts for Swan & Dolphin at Disney World – Many Walt Disney World fans dismiss these three third party hotels out of hand, but the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve are located on-site and within walking or boat distance of both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They also are eligible for Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours.
Aside from the Disney details and themes, these hotels offer better benefits and a superior location to most Value and Moderate Resorts. With prices starting at under $200 per night after discount, they are well worth considering.
2026 U.S. Military Salute Ticket & Room Discount at Walt Disney World – US military personnel can purchase promotional Walt Disney World theme park tickets at deeply discounted prices. Choose 4-Day, 5-Day or 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket (formerly the Disney Military Promotional Ticket) for visits through December 2026. Armed Forces Salute room-only discounts are also available at Walt Disney World for the same dates.
Canada Residents: Save Up to 32% Off WDW Tickets – Walt Disney World is trying to lure international ‘whales’ who stay for longer trip durations but have unfavorable exchange rates–and might otherwise be apprehensive about visiting–with this aggressive ticket deal.
Future Walt Disney World Discounts
What’s past is prologue.
That expression holds true with Walt Disney World discounts, which play out in predictable patterns every year. Lately, Walt Disney World has been trying to incentivize planners to book early and save more.
That has meant discounts are often released earlier–and end earlier–than in the past. However, those dates haven’t been ‘done’ when the discount ends…they just release a new discount, often of a different nature or for a different group.
Walt Disney World has already released a “full” lineup of discounts all the way through Christmas 2026. In the past, that would mean no more discounts for travel dates in 2026.
However, the last year has seen more and more aggressive last-minute special offers that often surpass the earlier releases, and we’re expecting that trend to continue. Just be advised that availability is likely to be limited, and not all travel dates are covered. We highly recommend booking a backup deal now, so you don’t get left empty handed.
If there is another resort discount for October through December 2026, it is likely to be extremely limited in terms of travel dates, availability, and targeting. This is the highest occupancy stretch of the year, so do not expect much. More likely, there will be something similar to last year’s Late 2026 Walt Disney World Ticket Deal for Disney+ Subscribers. Something for Florida residents is also possible, as is a discount on Annual Passes.
We expect the next full round of discounts to be released between mid-September and early October 2026.
This will be the first wave of special offers for 2027, covering travel dates through Spring Break and potentially beyond. In the last couple of years, the deals for further out have been especially attractive and are typically not topped by anything released later. To the contrary, the ‘stay longer & save more’ special offers released at the start of the new fiscal year for Spring & Summer 2027 are likely to be better than subsequent iterations of those same discounts released in early 2027.
Whether these are general public special offers or just offers for Annual Passholders, Floridians, Disney+ subscribers, and/or Disney Visa cardholders remains to be seen and is likely dependent upon resort occupancy projections. Walt Disney World has been tinkering with more targeted discounts during the period of pent-up demand, so more of that wouldn’t be surprising–it really depends on whether that’s starting to slow or if travel is still booming.
While past is prologue, it’s also true that history doesn’t always repeat itself–sometimes it just rhymes.
WDW Discount Commentary
Finally, some words of warning and generalized commentary. In addition to the standard varying rates of the discount depending on precise travel dates, some room-only discounts have incredibly limited availability, especially room-only offers with peak travel dates. Don’t be surprised if you search for an otherwise qualifying hotel and are unable to book the discount due to zero availability.
In our searches, there are a number of situations close to holidays where these “discounts” would actually cost more, due to zero availability in standard rooms, meaning you have to upgrade to a room with a view, suite, or Club Level room. In other situations, there’s just nothing, period, so Disney’s site recommends upgrading resorts. (Such helpful suggestions for “saving” money!)
On the other hand, the discounts for off-season travel dates look pretty good in terms of availability. The additional upside to those dates is that you can choose off-season times to visit when crowds are lower and rack rates are lower, which means you’ll pay even less.

This is our favorite discount because it’s straightforward and tends to offer the best value for us, and many other Walt Disney World regulars are fans of it for this same reason.
Typically, the best discounts are offered in the least popular months of the year–summer and early fall. The downside is that this is the heart of tropical storm season (see our Storm Season at Disney World Survival Guide for more info), and it’s hot and humid. These months are arguably the worst of the year in terms of weather, and that’s assuming you don’t have to deal with any hurricanes or intense tropical storms.
To this point, keep in mind that Walt Disney World does not offer discounts out of generosity. Discounts are offered because Disney wants to hit a target occupancy rate for its hotels–they are a way to entice people who otherwise might not do so to book a trip.
Disney only offers discounts to the extent that are needed to hit projected target occupancy rates. Once those targets are reached, discounts are not offered. Hence the lack of availability for some resorts and some room categories in any promotion.
This is all a long-winded way of saying that flexibility is important when it comes to Walt Disney World discounts, especially Free Dining. If you want to save the most money, there’s a decent chance you will need to choose your resort hotel based upon discount availability. If you’re able to be flexible on travel dates, that’s even better!

Disney just dropped a new up to 30% promo today from July 8 to october something! Too bad my other hotel aren’t refundable…. never though disney would send another hotel deal.
The tiers are 5% lower than the original late summer/fall deal but at least something is offered again. I guess you booked a non Disney hotel since it can’t be refunded?
How do I book the 35 percent off for fall? I don’t see it on the website.

Unfortunately it’s already passed for most hotels. It’s the Stay longer Save 35% deal. If you are planning a trip, ALWAYS book for whatever dates you want as soon as you know. You can always revise your dates to take advantage of any deals that are going on when you see. them. (If you book through Disney directly with just a $200.00 deposit.)
Yea, unfortunately we didn’t plan on this trip until after the promo got the reduced dates. It just feels surprising to me that they still are promo-ing summer (the busier season) but wouldn’t have something for early fall (quieter season)
I actually expect more to be released…pretty much any day now. Tuesdays are usually the day for drops, so I was up early today checking.
I’m highly skeptical that what was already released (and pulled) for July through September is it. I think they’re just waiting for more certainty about occupancy numbers so they know what they “need” to offer. But who knows–it might all be targeted (AP, Disney Visa, FL, D+, etc).

Great tip on checking all the discount options. I had assumed that up to 35% AP deal was the best deal, but that was not the case for the hotel and dates I had booked. I just changed my reservation to the better deal. You just saved me $50 per night. Thanks!
The 30 (35)% discount for the summer is gone. This made my maybe vacation go to a definitely not vacation. You think these are gonna come back? Something similar? Seems to early to take away these discounts.
I was wondering the same thing. I’m holding reservations for August and was considering making changes, but the discount no longer appears on their site.
So I’m not alone. Been planning for the past month and now everything just went to garbage. The top reason was the 25% on my hotel. Now that it’s not on the website anymore, for any hotel, it’s adding thousands of dollar that weren’t budget for this…. Too bad, I really was hoping to go back to pop this year 🙁
just spoke to a travel agent and the promo has ended. It seems there was a date limit that I never found anywhere… This just ruins all my plan for summer vacation at disney….. Stupid time limit, and they left the other one that is early on….

We are planning an anniversary celebration in June ’24 by driving our camper to Fort Wilderness Campground. Is there every any discounts we might be able to take advantage of? We are a group of 8 and would enjoy savings anywhere we can get them. I will probably buy my tickets through AAA Mid Atlantic, but footing the bill for 8 can still get quite expensive. Any tips to save a couple bucks or get a free meal would be great. We are staying June 15-22.
I have a trip coming up at the end of August 2024 – I rent DVC points to save $$ so the packages thus far don’t benefit me. What I am hoping for is Disney resuscitates that 4-parks/4-days/no park hopper ticket deal they had recently … that would make my day…
An update on the free dining cards – I called this week (January 15, 2024) and they said that offer is no longer available. I have a stay coming up that fits in those dates and it can not be honored. And, if you go to look for new reservations that offer is gone. I did call and a rep confirmed it.
Are Swan/Dolphin included in these package deals ever? Or is it only separate Marriot discounts?

I find the 30 and 35% discounts for APs, Florida residents. Disney+ etc a little suspect. We usually stay at Disney’s Animal Kindom Lodge, club level and have so well over 15 times. In September 2023 our average price per night was around 550 per night. When try to book the 35% discount for days in Jan-Mar and likewise Apr-May, club level wasn’t available so we looked at the savanna view rooms. With the 35% or whatever the computer applied, the average nightly charge was over 700. Now this would seem to indicate that the normal standard savanna room rate would be upwards of 1000. Am I missing something here, or did Disney jack their rates up prior an advertised discount which is the usual Ameican business model. If someone knows some Intel on the discounts, please throw me bone.

The biggest possible discrepancy is dates. September is entirely offseason, and has the cheapest rack rates of the year…but so do portions of Jan-February. Conversely, March-April have peak season rates, and so the starting price could be much higher. I’d recommend adjusting your dates and seeing if that makes a difference–it should.

Hey Tom, for any Canadians reading this there is currently a ticket discount available – Canada residents save 20% on 5-day or longer Walt Disney World theme park tickets! This is a date-based ticket that requires you to select a start date at purchase. Valid for ticket start dates as early as January 11, 2024, and until September 28, 2024. You can also add a Park Hopper option. I was able to book the Disney+ hotel only discount and the Canadian resident discount on tickets which was a better deal than taking the free dining plan.
Any thoughts on Discover Disney Florida rez tickets?
I have been stalking the Disney discount of 30% off room with travel by the end of December and also the Disney Subscribers discount of 35% off. I usually check every day and was able to apply some discounts to my split stay. I went to check today and the 30% offer is not listed anymore and when I try to sign in for the Disney subscribers discount I get the following msg. Sorry, the special offer you‘re looking for is not available. The last valid offer date may have passed, or the URL may contain errors. Please check your spelling”. It is still listed on the website and I checked and there is not an end date listed. Are you able to tell us if both offers are now discontinued?
Hello. Let me preface this comment by saying I appreciate the blog and read it often. In regard to considering the Swan/Dolphin options, buyer beware. Last Fall I looked into this option, made the reservation in October for Easter 2023. Long story short, my confirmed reservation was lost not once but three times. Each time I was told there was not record of my deposit nor conversations noted by 10 or more people I ended up speaking with to help resolve the problem. When it came time to To lock in dining reservations, once again my account was nonexistent. At this point, I finally connected with a wonderful cast member. I was able to switch my reservation to Art of Animation. The cast member explained to me that although the Swan/Dolphin are on Disney property, their operating system does not synch with Disney’s. In addition, guests staying at the Swan/Dolphin, have less of a chance to secure good reservations for dining because Marriott wants their guests to eat in their hotels. Perseverance and luckily landing a knowledgeable cast member saved my family.
I cannot get a single promo to apply to the room we booked even though it technically qualifies for most of them (as confirmed by a CM). It’s the Bay Lake Tower in Jan, a 1 bedroom villa. The CM on the phone told me to keep checking back online to see if the promos open for the room, but also that the only way to modify and add the promo is by calling. Anyone know if those two things are true? It’s so frustrating to see great deals that should apply but they do not.
Try booking the same room with a ‘fresh’ reservation (instead of modifying your existing one). Do you see any availability? If not, that’s because each special offer has an ‘allotted’ amount of inventory, and that’s sold out. If it’s sold out, you can’t apply it to an existing reservation, either.
If that search does yield results, it means there’s a glitch and something is up when they’re trying to modify your reservation. That does happen from time to time, too. But my bet is that it’s a lack of availability, since BLT rooms are limited and in fairly high demand.

It’s always possible that someone cancels or WDW adds more inventory to the special offer. Because of that, I’d advise you to keep checking if this were a standard room, with a lot of overall inventory.
That’s not the case with these larger Deluxe Villas, though. This isn’t to say you won’t get lucky–you very well might! But if it were me, I’d probably rebook a different room that does have availability with the discount. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Hello! I did confirm by chat that you cannot apply discounts for existing reservations, you actually have to search for your dates and if you see a room available, book a 2nd reservation and then go and cancel the old one. I had to do it this way for my music suites discount under the disney chase visa promo. Slightly annoying but my original deposit went right back on my card almost immediately. If you don’t see an available room when you search for your dates, then as Tom said, it’s sold out for that promo. I did have success checking back often but music suites are probably less coveted than BLT! 🙂
New AP discount just dropped for resort only available for dates in 2024! Still waiting for general, chase, or dis+ discounts….womp.
It seems like there are lots of discounts for AP and Florida residents. I don’t see any for DVC …. I would appreciate any tips to save on the other two big expenses: food and tickets….
With the return of annual passes and the significant AP discounts for summer and the holidays, we’ve saved over $3,500 on CSR club level bookings (our first ever) for August and December. Not an inexpensive Disney year for us, but our APs have already more than paid for themselves, and without even setting foot in a park. That’s how good these discounts are.
Wow, that is a ton of money and really underscores how prices are (effectively) decreasing year-over-year.
